Were you paid to write that? ? What are they like when it's dry but cold?

I have to say the stock tyres on the Supra make it handle like a dangerous dog when the road/tyres are cold. Needs full respect at all times. Also needs a driver who understands that when it's all going wrong you might need to do something different!

No reason why you can't do that, it will be a fiarly expensive exercise though I'd imagine.

I just checked my V5 and there is nothing on there to denote sub type, literally just: Toyota Supra Coupe ...and that's it!

Only thing I can think of is that the farm yard we park in isn't that level in places, so it's possible the wheels moved a little as I got out? Will see if it does it again!

I had an interesting experience yesterday morning, I hopped in the car to leave the cars & coffee event I was at and it wouldn't start! The centre display came up with an error, (can't remember the exact wording) stating there was an error with the steering lock and then instructions stating...

Doesn't anti-lag basically cook everything and seriously shorten the lifespan of the impellor, housing and manifold?

Just had this through from Toyota customer services, may be of interest: In answer to your question, there were around 60-70 manual Supras sold in 2023, and just under 200 Supras total. It's interesting that they can't put a definite number on it, and also they didn't include 2022 either...

It's the same over here, Castle Combe had noise complaints back in about 2005 that almost finished it as a venue, despite having operated since the 1950s! (Before that it was an RAF airfield)

Excuse the thread resurrection... Is anyone aware of any other options yet for the fake door vents? I can live with them 99% of the time, the other 1% is a PITA when the car is being washed/dried!

Not privvy to any of that yet I'm afraid - all I know is larger compressor & turbine, but not sure of actual sizes.

I'm running the development turbo, so should be available to purchase soon I think. It's really transformed the car TBH. (I've not driven a pure800, so can't compare directly if the experience is similar or not)

That's the one - currently minus the Akrapovic silencer as that's still awaiting replacement under warranty after the valve issue.
