550 what, NM or FT/LB? Makes quite a difference! ?

HP isn't the factor here, it's torque. I've been running 490ft/lb+ on my manual for a few months without issue, however I drive it with some mechanical sympathy and an eye on not abusing the clutch.

Whilst waiting for my unit to be repaired by Akrapovic I'm going to re-fit the stock rear silencer, however the actuator has gone back with the Akrapovic unit. Will I get any codes/errors running without the valve actuator? If so I assume I can just nuke it out with BM3? Thanks :)

If the dealer is settling direct with Toyota FS then I'd let them keep the car while it's going through - less grief. I did the same when I returned an RX450HL early, no issues at all.

I find 1st & 2nd are great if you are slowly cruising or absolutely nailing it... in the middle of those two extremes is where it becomes difficult. My gut feeling is that it's nothing to do with CDV and more to do with how the engine accelerates and holds/loses revs in the mid range - changing...

My plan is to add some stripes in the same shade as the calipers/rear supra badge. Still trying to decide between doing the B pillar ones as above, viper-style stripes...or a combination!
