I'll suggest tapping the slave lightly to possibly dislodge air bubbles. I believe that the bleeder valve may not be the highest point, and a least one guy I know removed the slave to reposition it for bleeding so that the valve is higher. Different car though, so things may have changed.

Well, I flew up to Dayton Ohio yesterday (from Raleigh NC) and picked up my new Supra from the fine folks at Walker Toyota. I say fine folks because they were easy to deal with, no games, no stupid markups or unneeded extras, and it all went very smoothly other than no navigation in the car...
How many miles on the car? 4 or 6 cylinder? How do you know that the battery, etc. are all good?
If the car isn't running, how can it stall? So, the sequence must be that the car restarts, you press on the accelerator, and then it stalls? A video would be helpful.
But if it's not the...
And I presume that the 23K is worldwide production, right? The tool in the video was (I'm pretty sure) an American...
Which I guess doesn't reflect so well on us, but that's probably a topic for a different thread.
True that. Odds are you are OK, just don't do it again.
I don't know why people want to destroy expensive tires. If you want to do doughnuts, do it in an empty parking lot in the rain.
So, I'll throw in my two cents if I may with a thought and an anecdote.
The engineers who design these cars have to consider a lot of things, chief among them being performance, fuel efficiency, noise and reliability. You change one thing, you'll likely change another. Everything is a...
Yes, I read all ten pages of this thread. Interesting stuff. It's also interesting how much our skills vary, some folks can do this (allegedly) In 10 minutes, others it takes days getting the air out, connecting things properly, etc.
I don't get my car for a couple of days yet, but I have...
So, for those following along at home, I continued widening my search, many dealers want MSRP or better, those dirt sucking ?, one or two wouldn't sell to me since I was not local, another wanted me to come in to discuss in person even though it was clearly stated and understood that I was not...
Thank you for succinctly summarizing the issue. :D
When I was on my test drive last weekend chatting with the salesman, he told me that during the pandemic when there was a shortage, he made more money than he had ever made (or made since) in his career. Everything selling at MSRP+ and he was...
Nice to see (read) that so many of you recognize this issue (i.e. it's not just me ;)) and have found a way around it.
Kudos to my fellow seniors here who are still enjoying a small sports car.
I know it's only been a couple of days, but I'm really getting annoyed. Why doesn't BMW/ Toyota make more of these?
I went through a similar experience last year when buying my Blackwing. It took weeks to find one at MSRP. It was worth it though... :drive:
I've contacted Tom. Thanks.
I'd love to find a car at 57, 58k. Where are they?
I'm looking in a 500 mile radius. Obviously I need to expand that.
If you or anyone else sees a car, please send me a link!
