This is a BMW "feature". LOL, what I mean is that I've had similar issues on some BMWs as we (or some of us) on the Supra, the volume for different inputs is ... different.
Annoying, and there's no fix that I'm aware of. Just keep in mind, "they all do that". Mostly.
It's probably blasphemy here to agree with Phil, but he has a good point. Most of the world still drives cars with manual transmissions. The USA, Australia and Canada are the exception.
I'm still gobsmacked that Australia requires a driving test for a manual transmission. That's just...
Any of you guys (and gals) with the Amazon Hypersonic solution have a pic that you can share? I know it's only $10, but I'm not sure how well it fits and actually where to stick them!
TIA.
I'm just curious, if you don't mind me asking: for things like this, are they printed, or do you create a die and have them made via injection molding? Or something else?
I always wonder what it takes to design, prototype and make something like this, as far as the investment in time and...
I read the first three pages and the last three pages of this thread, but I just can't take any more.
I will say though, that we should all probably keep in mind that we were teenagers once too. They don't always have the best judgement.
Oh. I couldn't tell what that was from the picture. Interesting. What is the lettering in the window, it's BMW... something.
My 2025 came without the Toyota label.
I didn't mean to be condescending, just pointing out that I've been doing it for a long time.
Most instructors are really nice people willing to risk their lives to help other enthusiasts become better drivers and stay safe.
Some bozo put it in there, so it shouldn't be too hard to remove. You just gotta figure out the trick to removing the panel(s).
I once had a car with a remote radar detector that was dealer installed. I was actually quite surprised at what a good job they did running the wires all through the...
They are in a hurry, and they are more important than you are, so please stay out of their way.
I don't know what color blue is (every group is different) but I've been instructing and driving in advanced groups for longer than some of you mooks have been alive. A couple of years ago I did a...
Yeah, if you want to have some fun, tell them that they paid too much for the paint correction, PPF and sealant that they just had done.
It really doesn't matter who it was, in which forum, I guarantee that they paid too much. Bunch of uptight mooks over there, mostly. There are a few cool...
I'm always trying to be positive, avoid the negativity of the Internet and tendency to pontificate on everyone's mistakes, but... really, one of the best things about a Porsche, especially their mid-engine sports cars, is the shifter in the manual. The 7-speed in the 911 is rubbish, but the...
I too have owned several Corvettes, and the thing I noticed with them is that the roof is much narrower than the width of the car. The door glass is curved inward, giving you a lot more room to get the noggin in the car. The Supra does not do that nearly as much.
Yeah, I never get these folks who have 3 really nice cars and a 1985 Chevrolet "beater" to drive 90% of the time to "save" the nice cars. Bah.
Anyway, back to the OQ: yes, I rode in a Plaid. I got a headache from the torque. It is stupid fast. And speaking of stupid, why do you have to use...
I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the two cars. I've owned a 981 Boxster and considered the Cayman before buying the Supra, but partly because BTDT and the values on the 981 cars are still astronomical, I went with the Toyota.
Anywho... If the batteries are young and strong, I wouldn't...
