  1. Track-friendly upgrades?

my advice is always very basic because I’m not that experienced and it may not apply to you. if someone with better experience says something different go with that advice: 1. Safety - Helmet: invest as much as you think your brain is worth - brake Fluid: stock brake fluid will boil and you...
  2. Track-friendly upgrades?

In my case is a dedicated car for the track weekends. Only gets driven 30 min to the track Friday night and back home on Sunday and normally sits in the garage. the other consideration for me is that I enjoy the track, but I enjoy more working on the car itself. I have done everything on...
  3. Track-friendly upgrades?

Lovely. Is kind of what I did. I’m already on Stage 8! Of my build. Just have not documented the whole thing but planning to. I added the cooling earlier because Im In swampy FL and needed it to run the entire summer...

  6. Track day upcoming

PSS are an OK tire. The next step would be PS4S and the better and cheaper Conti Extreme Sport 02 Then the above mentioned TW200s. I would invest in better brake fluid and go With the PSS and see how you feel? EDIT: a great advice came up above: these TW200 are not good on a downpour...
  7. Track day upcoming

https://www.wunderladenracing.com/blogs/wunderladen-racing-blog/track-tire-guide Plus my own search for tires: Wheel size is important some sizes are not available in some brands. Finalists: Kumho V730: good grip, good heat resistance, good wet performance. Very cheap. Can’t find it in...
  8. Undertray / Flat Floor

Thanks for showing. I am currently running the Verus’ max downforce package and it works fine although I can’t really pinpoint to any particular component, including things that are outside of all the surfaces like suspension tires, the fender vents etc. out of curiosity will look at that...
  9. Undertray / Flat Floor

Which product? Pictures and perceived benefit?
  10. Suspension mods advice before the season starts!

Yeah. Although most people do not drive in the summer here because temperatures are upper 90s and rains every day. The other thing is that for me in the Miami there are only two tracks that I can drive Homestead which is 30 min from home and Sebring at 3.5 hours from home. I actually did...
  11. MSS Springs Wrong Polyurethane Seat

Damn! I hadn’t realized they did
  12. MSS Springs Wrong Polyurethane Seat

https://www.supramkv.com/threads/project-gr-75-build-log-mod-list-and-short-ratings.22449/post-364170 I just went back to what I did when I installed my MSS springs and noted that the front shoe seemed to fit akwardly but um it worked out fine at the end.
  13. Suspension mods advice before the season starts!

I got the same floaty feeling on my 3 first weekends until I took it to some local guy who aligns the car after doing a full interrogation about what you are planning to do with it etc. the floaty feeling was gone after getting a better than stock alignment. Be sure to get one. If you are...
  14. Suspension mods advice before the season starts!

for the beginner. In the south
  15. Suspension mods advice before the season starts!

As the people with experience have said above. A step wise approach will pay a better dividend, unless you have unlimited funds or no patience. I started with adjustable springs. They were great to lower the stance of the car and the center of gravity. An excellent step on improving the...
  16. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

That car looking shinny despite the track beating is puzzling. Mine looks like it was dug out of a coal mine after the first 20 min of HPDE.
  17. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

A few laps at Homestead. As the laps go by I can feel that my street tires are gone. (These is a new kind of realization for me as a new HPDE driver) was a lot of fun. Hoping to come back next month with brand new suspension components and better tires.
  18. 275 tires and 18x11 vs 18x10 wheel fitment on stock shocks

Ok. Damn. Thanks. well… I took the plunge and went with the V730s 275/35 R18 squared on Titan 7s which are 10.7 inch wide. I also put an order for the coilovers and I have camber plates and end links in a box somewhere. So I will be busy mounting those up and will let you know.
  19. 275 tires and 18x11 vs 18x10 wheel fitment on stock shocks

Thanks. You are on Apex 18 /10 squared. Right? I am afraid to stretch the 275/35 too much on the 10.7 titan and lose too much shoulder due to stretch. I was looking at this reference table and it seems to be kind of ok. I’m also looking into getting the coilovers and the links+ camber...
  20. 275 tires and 18x11 vs 18x10 wheel fitment on stock shocks

This conversation comes at a great moment when I committed with a second set of wheels that will be the Titan7 TR-10s that are 18X10.7" +38MM. Squared set. (I got at a good discount and Apex is on back order everywhere) I am lowered on MSS adjustable springs and I am trying to find out if...
