Definitely loving the V730
Definitely loving the V730s on squared 295/35. I’m sure at this point I would not be able to extract the 1 extra second the RE7s can provide, and the price can’t be beat.
wheels wise I am kind of running out of different options and is going to have to be APEX...
It seems based on the consensus here on the forum that if I am willing (which I am) to go for new wheels the best route is RE7s than the way more expensive and harder Cup2s. And that if I want to keep my current wheels Cup2s is the better option.
this is an interesting point that I’m researching right now.
Based on my initial reading the RE7s are exceptional for things like time attack where you go for a few flying laps, but will it take the beating of 25min of HPDE?
It seems that the Cup2s heat up more gradually?
there is also the...
Post track weekend checks.
my Right front tire is gone and has wires exposed. (19 inch staggered with Contis street tires)
I need to order a new set of front brake pads. will replace and leave the rotors. They seem to be in good shape.
This might be the best time to buy the squared set of...
yes. This is the one I was recommended. My windshield ended up with a 10 inch linear crack on the drivers side and has 20+ small chips on it. So after replacement I will go straight into windshield condom and PPF for the front. (Which - shame on me- I hadn’t done)
Front bumper has a...
I wouldn’t know the difference. I thought the double rear wing with the active aero was unique to a model.
Needless to say that car In front of me was beautiful. And it was probably being driven by a blind person (but not a beginner because was driving solo 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️) because I...
i think Mark is a racing veteran. He probably got tired of the spotlight, the Monaco yachts , and the supermodels and settled down for a more grounded life
🤩🤩🤩
the first thing that you will have to accept, is that tracking is all about compromise and brake pads are the perfect example.
as your pads get better they will be noisier and dustier. I use Hawks 60-30. They are phenomenal but my car sounds like a dump truck and the dust gets into the...
Hi!👋
I am a track noob. I have been driving my Supra for a year and a half on the track and went through the same questions.
the Supra is a FANTASTIC car to track. The consumables at my level are fairly affordable. And even though I Ended up building a dedicated track car very quickly, most...
also. It does not matter how much you check and measure, every sticker, decal, louvre, and add on that you put on the car will be crooked.
we will be sure to tell you:
“it would’ve looked better if it wasn’t crooked”
🤣🤣🤣
The OEM manifold has 2 pins to push and secure the cover. Once gone You can just use the two that are left, but the cover is kinda out of place and floating; and also for looks… I guess.
that cover is by far the most benign thing I have cut in this car.
