That's already been done, Xhp has had ZF transmissions down for a few years now. I run them on my 335i, check out their apps on the Google play store and I think they are on the Apple store also.
This is spot on for being a BMW. They are known to be like 1-2% off, as I beleive in Germany the automaker can be fined if the speedo reads lower than the car is going. On my 335i this can be changed with coding, not sure on the newer cars. I actually prefer it this way since when my speedo says...
I thought I saw a video on here(or on youtube) where someone tried a regular B58 down pipe on a supra and it wouldn't fit correctly because having the manifold built into the head changes where everything lines up. I could be wrong though.
There's really not much to a down pipe, as long as it...
MHD is like the king of flash tuning for N54's/55's. Great product, can download it to your cell phone, and a great price usually. For the N54 you could tune it for $200 or a little under. I assume it will be similar for the Supra B58, I'd highly recommend looking into them.
EDIT: MHD Supra...
Do a lot of you guys(or people in general) not drive with their windows down ever? Unless its 95*+ or raining I usually have my windows down. I much prefer to feel/smell the air rather than the recirculated AC and I also feel like I'm too isolated/locked up most of the time with the windows up.
The 3 series(even the new G20) doesn't even have the option for ventilated seats, that's like a 5 series and up thing so no way you'd see them in the Supra/Z4. Heated seats have been a BMW thing forever so of course they'll have them if they are electronic seats.
Not sure if the panels just aren't there, but most BMW's have a panel that goes from under the front bumper to the rear of the front subframe and also a panel covering the middle of the car/tranny. The underside of my E92 is pretty much covered all the way to the rear end. One thing BMW doesn't...
There must have been something wrong with your setup then... I have had the RB turbo high side catch can on my FBO N54 for 60k+ and my car does not smell like oil. Unless your catch can was vented to atmosphere?
I agree though a catch can probably isn't as necessary on the B58. Since the N55...
That's a special case because BMW doesn't do individual paint colors at the Leipzig plant where the M2 is built, so you have to be special/PAY A TON to get it done.
