More proof to show how underrated the B58 is from factory. This 335hp version is actually putting down 372 BHP on a conservative Dyno Dynamics dyno. Simple stage 1 tune bumps it to 441...

Let's just say that the 6hp21(rated for 332 ft lb) in my 09 335i is still going pretty well at 182k with 440 ft lbs running through it. ZF transmissions are pretty strong, and the newer 8HP's are only better then the previous 6hp's.

Exactly this. As I said in another thread, it has been common practice for BMW's turbo engine output numbers to actually be VERY close to what it makes in WHP as seen over the last 10 years of dyno'ing BMW turbo engines.

I would assume the O since the article states that the lower hp trim is the M, and we know the Z4 has the higher hp engine.
