ahh shit my bad, you're right. I did follow the link to the thread(had seen the thread before also) but missed the part on it being San Marino. What's funny was I was thinking it was pretty close to san marino, well I was right lol.
VTT I believe has a newly designed aftermarket crank hub bolt/other pieces that don't require removal of engine/drilling a pin or any of that and from the design looks like it will prevent the issue from happening.
Let's..... like looking at the post a few above yours with the link to realoem and the ducts, which doesn't look to take any air from that little side "vent"

B58 has forged crank and rods, not sure about the pistons, doubt it.
If you guys want to see technical specs/info on the B58 as well as how to decipher the engine codes check out this technical training guide; http://s3.bimmerfile.com.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/BMW_B58_Engine.pdf
I actually dig the look of the new Z4, I like all the angles. First Z4 convertible I have ever liked actually, would actually own/drive one, unlike the old grandpa cruisers of past.
Jesus guys......
Look, I don't think anyone is dismissing what PerformanceSound is saying about the heritage/legacy of the MKIV and the MKV not matching up . I think we all get that point. The fact of the matter is most on here are tired of hearing about it. We all know what this car is and...
Semi-individual (TB, AB, CQ, etc...) ~$2k
Individual (SMB, Ferrari Red, LSB, etc..) ~$5k
Individual w/ research (something BMW has never done) $7k+
Super-special individual (Pure Metal Silver, others) $10k+
Pricing can vary by country.
I know the M2 cannot be ordered in Individual colors...
LMAO......... You don't have to click it to the opposite direction you had it on to turn it off. You just give it another light tap the same direction you did to turn it on and it goes off. Not that complicated or counter-intuitive.....
It's german, everything is over-engineered, just like the E92 seat belt extenders (you know what I'm talking about lol). But like I said I quite like it, I can barely hit it for it to do a quick 3 blink sequence and I can switch lanes and not worry about having to manually click it back off.
I don't understand whats hard to understand about how they work, or how they are complicated? I quite like bmw's setup. Quick tap of the blinker stalk gives nice, quick 3 blink sequence for quick lane change. Or if actually needing to turn/keep the light blinking until the wheel turns enough to...
No, this isn't an old engine, this is their 2nd newest 6cylinder design with a brand new head design(newest being S58 which isn't even out yet in production). People wanted the S58, but it isn't out and guarantee BMW would never give it to Toyota. No one wanted the S55, that is an old engine...
They both(330i and 340i) come in rwd and x-drive versions. Not sure if the times are from the rwd or awd variant.
Exactly, but as said if anything a catch can can help alleviate these issues.
