No I believe this is correct as there were some European members that have stated that yellow is the only free color for them, everything else they have to pay for
Because with direct injection you don't have fuel from injectors in the intake runners to clean off the crud/oil that gets into the intake valve ports and onto the valves. A catch can can help mitigate this.
You'll lose a lot of weight replacing the huge muffler with an aftermarket unit, they usually weigh a ton on BMW's. Although the one on the Supra doesn't look too huge
I said all along that what Toyota advertised would pretty much be WHP not crank.
As for the Z4, if BMW says it is making 380hp, then you can almost guarantee that it will be making that to the wheels or very close to it if not over.
LMAO.......... So you wanted a bigger, heavier car(not a drivers car) but with around same power levels as the actual MK5, and you also wanted to pay 100k(atleast 75k) for it just so it would be 100% Toyota? That makes a lot of sense.
This is way more ridiculous than BMW tax. M performance carbon bumper lip for an M4 is only $1,300. They are trying to charge $1600 more than BMW would for a lip. WTF are they on?
I'm talking newly released M cars. From the F90 M5 on, the Comp models are now coming out very shortly after the regular M models. Same is happening with X3/4M and also M8. What I've quoted is what he has posted on the subject. If you guys want you can ask him more specifics as I linked the...
I agree, it doesn't totally make sense but who knows. And it's not like it would be a total refresh, they just have to put the other version of the engine in, probably doesn't even require anything else(maybe a thing or two, not much)to change to swap over.
Wouldn't be too different from BMW...
I am well aware that everyone has known a more powerful version is coming, but him stating this now and the way he did makes it seem like it may be coming sooner than we expected. Just my interpretation, could be way off base
Didn't know where else to post this, but figured you would all want to know this.
Not sure on how soon and if he is speaking on the GRMN model or not. Hopefully he will divulge more info.
For those of you that don't know who that is, he is a BMW insider on the bimmerpost forums. He knows all...
Yeah with BMW engines the HPFP runs out before the injectors run out of flow. There hasn't been any upgraded hpfp's for n54, but they have finally came out with some for S55/N55 and I believe the B58 is about to have an upgraded hpfp option soon if it's not out already. More companies are...
