Yes you’ll likely need a front spacer, I’d guess around 8mm. HKS springs or coilovers would eliminate the need for a spacer as they get rid of the factory tophat which is what necessitates the spacer. I’m on HKS, highly recommend.
Ah sorry, meant EC7Rs. Please do, if they go on sale I’ll grab a set. My ETA on my other wheels keep getting pushed out and I’m tired of waiting.
Ran SM-10s on my F30 and loved them so I wouldn’t mind staying with Apex!
I guess I should ask, if it wasn’t for the spring perch would you have needed the spacer? The HKS springs get rid of it and my wheels are 18x10.7et38.
Search the Facebook forums, dozens of people saying that they upsized tires on stock wheels and the car drove horribly. Tires are the only thing that touches the road, not to sound combative, but I wouldn’t take the cheap way on such an integral part of the car. You can and likely will...
Don’t do it. High speeds will not be cool with that much of a bubble. Even 295 pokes. Can do it =/= should do it. My recommendation would be to get the appropriate wheel and tire setup. I know it’s a lot more $ but it’s really the right thing to do.
So I know Apex is saying that their 18x10 et30 wheels squared on 285/35/18 but can I fit the Titan7 18x10.7et38 squared on the same? Or do I need to step it down to 275/40? Not so good with this so thanks in advance!
Can you share logs? Can you share information about flow and back pressure? Anything else? Don’t get me wrong, I love more options, but for a product priced above the Pure, I’m struggling here. Looking forward to your response.
