Old post, but swapping to an aftermarket catback made the valve behavior in normal mode VERY apparent. I honestly didn't notice it before. Now It's huge bump in sound when I hit 3,500 RPM in gears 1-4.
Honestly not a fan. I drive my auto in normal/manual mode fairly often, and it's really easy...
Quick update on this. Dispute from credit card company is finally done. They charged back Holley/Dinan along with fees and penalties.
Dinan remained evasive throughout the process. Holley can kick rocks as far as I'm concerned.
This is the same concept EV Toyota has been showing for years. Previous to this article from Forbes other outlets speculated that it was a MR2 successor. I don’t expect it to see the light of day.

Got a response from Holley already. They won't help me. Telling me I have to work with Dinan directly. Time to turn-up the pressure on my credit card company to resolve the claim.
I wish I didn’t feel the need to share this experience, but here we are.
I’m currently in a fight to get my money back after failing to receive an exhaust ordered directly from Dinan. I made the purchase during their holiday sale in early December. The shipment never arrived. After weeks...
My commute is 40 miles each way. So far the Supra has been perfect for it. Helps that I came from a Miata though. That car definitely beat me up too much by comparison.
I can’t stand Teslas, but that’s more of an emotional response to not wanting all cars to be soulless appliances. Doesn’t help...
Wait. People in California put plates on their cars? I thought everyone drove around with temp tags for the entirety of the ownership?? ?
Car looks great OP. Good luck with the sale.
I put two coats of Gyeon Mohs on mine. Just be sure to do a thorough decontamination (iron remover, clay bar) and paint correction, and you'll be good to go. I used Sonax perfect finish with rupes yellow pads this last time and got great results.
I finally saw a new Z in person a couple weeks ago. I’m usually a fan of simple designs, but man did I not like this one. The exterior looks unfinished to my eye. I expected to at least like the rear end (I think it looks great in photos), but in person it looked like a cheap knockoff of a Z32...
Those pieces aren't painted. Just bare plastic. Material from the curb is probably making it look so light. If sanding/polishing doesn't make it look satisfactory the part itself isn't super expensive.
