nibble might be thinking paint correction means touchup work, which technically it could include I suppose.
Interestingly PPF itself has a "cure" time of sorts. Usually at least a week before you wash it. Which means a week before any coating should happen (unless you coat unwashed cars like a...
Here's my not performance oriented 18" square setup with 245/45 Michelin CrossClimates to keep me tire side down when driving in the winter.
Wheels are Konig Heliogram in 18x8.5 et 32. I actually dig the way they look, and they're pretty lightweight too (18.5 lbs). Also running 10/13mm spacers...
I developed a really annoying rattle in my dead pedal after going over some super shitty roads yesterday. Haven't had a chance to pull it apart to look for the source. If I apply enough pressure to it the rattling stops completely.
I’m a couple years out from my 30 year mark of driving too. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t sometimes wonder if the MT Supra would have been more fun. However, those thoughts never enter my mind when I’m stuck in stop and go traffic for the majority of my 40 mile commute. I also really enjoy the...
Cool
I specifically referenced loud pops from aftermarket exhausts, because it's the significant increase in volume and frequency that I don't care for. I don't always love the pure stock pops, but it also doesn't bother me.
More power to those that dig the loud pops and bangs that come along with an aftermarket exhaust with the stock tune. I personally can't stand it. To the point where I've stopped looking at exhausts until I decide if I'm going to go through the hassle of unlocking and removing the burble tune.
This is a big part of why I don’t frequent my local cars and coffee very often. There’s no shortage of idiots hooning as they leave just to impress a gaggle of 16 year olds with their phones out. Before we know it both participants and spectators will be wearing Apple Vision Pro headsets so...
This thread just “triggered” a traumatic memory. Over Xmas at my in-laws my wife’s asshole uncle (Mustang guy) asked me if my Supra was an EV.
OP. My wife’s uncle knows best. No oil needed.
I’ve got spacers on, but for my winter setup. Wheels are 8.5” square and needed 10 and 13mm spacers to get close to the factory position on the outside
The idiot with the Supra around the corner from me is. Wish he’d stop treating the neighborhood like a racetrack. Don’t want people getting us...
My car was built in April 2023. Recall lookup confirms I'm not affected. Good thing too. If I'm ever forced to bring my car to a Toyota dealer I think I'll just sell it instead :banghead:?
My right rear tire picked up a massive bolt driving home from work tonight. Was able to limp home thanks to the leak being pretty slow (about 1 psi every 5 miles). Even though the leak is slow the bolt went in at an extreme angle and managed to delaminate a bunch of tread. So the tire is toast...
A sales person at a dealer near me just emailed saying this MT is available. My guess is that they're charging a markup:

Even though I'd probably go 30% if I did it again, I pretty much land where you are. Zero issues during the day, looks great, and still isn't that big of an issue at night.
