HT-12 is a coolant type, LC-18 is a BMW specification for which HT-12 must meet.
Thereās also a Zerex branded HT-12 that may be a bit cheaper if you can find it locally.
Is your accessory belt intact? Have you pulled codes? We cannot diagnose through telepathy.
Stop driving the car when itās overheated; you may cause far greater damage like a blown head gasket.
This recall isā¦interesting.
The NHTSA documentation indicates all BMWs recalled are 4 cylinder models, and the volume of recalled Supras is 1469, manufactured between October 2019 and July 2021. This is far fewer than the production volume.
Based on that bit of information, Iām wondering if...
I have the Ares version of this which looks about identical. Worked well - front passenger was slow to bleed but probably user error (not enough psi). I like this design much more than the popular Motive. Do let us know how it works for you.
The DME being locked or unlocked isnāt tied to the affected engines. I have a MY2021 built in March 2020 with a plastic oil pump. The estimated production date range has been covered ad nauseam in this forum.
Agreed running an engine for a few minutes is a bad idea for the reasons youāve outlined.
The ZF8 transmission will not stay neutral without using the manual override by physically accessing the transmission underneath the vehicle. It will lose hydraulic pressure after ~30 minutes and return to...
Itās an average book value; condition and actual mileage arenāt a factor (at least not in any county that Iām aware of).
If you can find someone in the same county with the same model year that should be a good estimate. Otherwise itās just doing the math between the county rate and average book.
Vehicle property tax rates are set by the county; if you look up their webpage, itāll be documented.
I donāt remember offhand how my county determines the value, but I think itās based on NADA.
Edit: I tried this cool new thing called Google which had a lot of great information:
Both companies have a full list of supported adapters on their websites.

I am frequently on the G20 forums and I havenāt seen anything notable yet. Forums represent a small sample size of owners though, and I imagine unless BMW extends the warranty it will be situational.
My warranty just ended, and if the oil pump died tomorrow I wouldnāt attempt bringing it to Toyota.
Huh? This is not unique to the Supra; the potential issue applies to all (North American at least) early B58TUs except the handful of m340is with the ZTK option.
If youāre strictly referring to the dealership experience, fair enough, but thatās also not strictly a Supra problem.
in terms of licensed/legit software there is a separate Toyota instance of ISTA. If you are interested in performing the update you can purchase a short duration subscription. Thereās a thread (here) floating around this forum with fairly good instructions.
@nanaisu covered the other route you...
Itās hard to say and depends so much on your driving profile. I wish we had access to the algorithm, but from the documentation that is available, IBS charges the battery during deceleration events (an oversimplification, thereās plenty of disparate information out there if you want to read...
Iām going to buck the trend and say itās possibly not your battery, although I hope it is because the alternatives arenāt great. E1C440 - I would suggest doing some research on that.
From quickly looking around the ISTA test plan is likely to suggest updating the i-level to rewrite the software...
Yeah I have rose tinted glasses, no doubt. That said, I came from S2Ki and it had volumes of valuable information. The influx of cluelessness/lack of willingness to read and research was not this severe.
ā¦there were also fewer oil threads. Slightly.
Your options are what @tracer bullet outlined above or XHP (for automatics). As of 03/2023 i-level it is no longer possible to FDL code MSA and I would not expect that to ever change. BMW, simply prohibits change from being made at least on US spec cars.
