The only thing I can think of is that the drop center of the OEM wheel is either more towards the center of the barrel, or there is a barrel taper that doesn't maximize the wheel diameter. Could be worth investigating, but the whole point of this for me was to have a budget friendly brake...

Exactly that Being able to source products via production cars will ultimately make these a lot cheaper than kits. I sold my OE brake setup for what I paid to upgrade the front and rears. It took some time to research and source everything individually, but virtually a free upgrade!

Thanks for the reply! that sounds very reasonable; although I did double check my settings, and my readout settings for pressure is set as “relative” vs absolute. I’m under the impression that “absolute” would not correct for atmospheric pressure- but this is out of my wheelhouse.
