Makes some sense if Toyota is still going after the 3 sports car lineup to badge them all as Toyotas all around the world.
What's funny is that once the prototype is finally spied, it'll probably be a hacked up frankenstein looking car just for testing purposes but the entire online car world will start screaming they butchered the FT1 concept and the Supra MKV is doomed!
Does Toyota have some private test track in Japan that they test cars at? Most of the spy photographs are taken in Europe and the USA so if Toyota has been testing the Supra MKV prototype at a private track in Japan, the chances of us seeing a spy pic might not be good.

I hope. Just wish we saw some recent Supra prototypes driving around. Would at least signal that things are moving forward without Toyota having to say anything officially.

Looks like hybrid is inevitable. What does everyone think of it?
I was really hoping it wouldn't go that route especially seeing how heavy the NSX ended up being (3800 pounds) because of the hybrid power plant.
Looks like we won't see anything next month at Tokyo auto show then :(
Doesn't it seem like a final decision has been up for approval/disapproval so many times now
Kind of scary how silent it's been on the car. Really hope it's not a sign of it never coming.
I been watching reviews of the Mustang GT350 and GT350R. Makes me wish Toyota had a car to compete with those, which is what the new Supra could be. I can't get over the interior styling and...
