  2. Toyota confirmed 3 sports car lineup: Toyota exec wants to bring back Celica, MR2

I hope the facelift 86 will have headlights like the original concept. Much cleaner looking IMO.

  6. MKV Toyota Supra Photoshops & Renders based on FT-1 & Prototypes

^^^ man that's more bland than I'd like. It completely lost the F1 nose which defined the concept. Roofline still nice. Wheels are straight off FR-S and nothing special. Good thing it's just a guess :D
  7. BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage Concept

New info on Bimmerpost says it's the M4 GTS and updated Hommage Concept. So not anything having to do with the Supra :(
  8. New Supra and Z4 will share platforms

Been lurking at Bimmerpost for any info on the project. These were posted from a BMW insider who posts often there. The pricing sounds like it will be very competitive for what the car brings, and it will be advanced, but what bothers me is he says the car is being built on a platform based...
  9. BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage Concept

http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1151538 That post announces that there's going to be 2 BMW concepts revealed at Pebble Beach. The steering wheels looks like it's for a sports car. Could it be the BMW model from the joint project...
  10. Crickets... give us some news Toyota!

^Why i don't think many will be cross shopping the C7 and Supra. Not to mention the lack of back seat but regardless I think they are just completely different crowds. I visit Corvette Forum on occasion and the hate for imports (and import buyers) is pretty noticeable.
  11. What will the FT-1 be called? Supra trademark revived by Toyota!

Interesting! Given the timing and that a sub 86 car probably wouldn't be until 3+ years out, I'm going to guess and hope this is for the Supra.
  12. BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage Concept

No there has not been any confirmation stating this new concept is related to the Toyota and BMW joint project car. It was just pure speculation on my part. Here is the new concept vs the BMW Z sketch.
  13. Toyota confirmed 3 sports car lineup: Toyota exec wants to bring back Celica, MR2

Agreed with everyone here. The sub 86 car will mostly likely be last.
  14. 3rd gen G29 BMW Z4 (2019-202X)

The hood and fenders do look FT-1ish. However, from the A pillars to end its just screaming M4 IMO. Of all the BMW's concepts I think the BMW Zagato Coupe resembles FT-1 the most. .
  15. New rumors from C&D: 2020 Supra to get BMW inline six engine / B58 & S58 chat

A Lexus offical has hinted that the LC coupe will be built on a shorten version of the next gen LS' platform.
  16. New Supra and Z4 will share platforms

Taking bets on what company and which factory will build the cars. Could this possibly be built in BMW's US plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina? It just got a $1 billion investment from BMW so its capacity is gonna be huge. Any likely US Toyota plants that would make sense to build these cars?
  17. New Supra and Z4 will share platforms

Thanks for posting that, some interesting stuff! Most interesting stuff to me was: The concept works, the platform can deliver and now we have two proud sets of engineers - one group German, one group Japanese - who are each fighting and arguing for the car they want. A single factory would be...
