My question is, if it uses a BMW engine and they are co developing a platform together that leverages a lot of the platform learnings from BMW..... what is TOYOTA doing? They are investing billions into this project no? I can't imagine them just dropping the engine in, designing around a BMW...
While all new Lexus models now feature the "spindle grille". IMO, each grille has its own characteristics, and not a simple copy and paste like BMW, Acura, Audi, and etc.
Yup, 650 hp if I read correctly. I'm really hoping if Toyota goes the 6 cylinder turbo route; that it would come close to the performances of the GT and R35.
I don't dubscribe to any mags anymore but still thumb through some of my favorites at the bookstore like CAR and EVO which have the highest quality photo and text. There is something different about being able to turn actual pages.
I find the reps at these shows are generally given a script to follow and don't have any real knowledge of the secret plans of the company. I think any new info will come when they show a revised concept.

It kinda makes me sad that the FT-HS never went into production. Also Lexus could have gotten a reskin version as the 3rd gen SC. Some factors that were working against it:
1. The economy tanked a few years later.
2. The front end was a little odd...

Hard to say. Current body is just built on a RC platform so don't know if we can really tell much from the current body in terms of dimensions and other aspects. But ya ingress and egress look hard.
If the Supra gets a carbon tub we can expect the same wide door sill though. Alfa Romeo 4c, BMW...
