You can also put your phone in the tray upside down and it won't activate the charging. That's my lazy way of getting around it XD.
One of these days I'll try and track down the PN for the tray the UAE cars get since iirc they don't get wireless charging at all, and I'll install that. It's...
The HKS and MBRP are both valved. I don't necessarily have anything against the burbles, especially on the '23 MT as they do seem quite toned down compared to previous years. I like the sound/tonality of all 3 exhaust but it's so hard to choose without actually getting to hear them in person...
Mind posting some clips when you get it? I've been trying to figure out what exhaust I want for my otherwise stock '23 MT, I don't plan on doing a DP or anything to it so I want something that sounds good on an otherwise stock setup. Currently torn between HKS, AWE Touring Non-Resonated and MBRP
I think it would look stunning, but what level of repaint are we talking here?
If it's anything less than stripping the car down to bare chassis and repainting the whole thing on a rotisserie and re-assembling the car (The cost if which is probably north of $25k), I probably wouldn't go for...
I spent like a week before picking my car up actually thinking about this, and ultimately this is the first song I ended up putting on as I started the drive home
I like to get a laugh when I can and I like some good self deprecating humor from time to time so I've been toying with the idea of getting "2POR4GT4" since Vanity plates around here allow for up to 8 characters.
Every time I see the cost though I can't bring myself to commit since I've never...
A thread popped up about it a while back when it launched. iirc the consensus was that the construction/quality was pretty good, and it just had some drone at certain RPM's (probably a lot to do with the fact that it's unresonated)
Personally I think that as a budget option it'd be pretty good...
TE37SL's and Advan GT Premiums have been discontinued just FYI. You can't order them new anymore, so you're going to be picking from whatever people have left in stock.
The replacement wheel for Advan GT Premiums are the Advan GT Beyonds, and the replacement for the TE37SL's are the TE37 Saga...
It's not that I have anything against re-drilling, it's mostly that the 21A currently doesn't come in A90 Stock body Sizes, even in a different bolt pattern, which is what triggered me to sort of put this out to the community. It'd be totally awesome if it turned in to a GB/Custom run, but if...
Are there any Vendors on here that would consider doing a custom run of Supra Spec Volk 21A, assuming there was enough legitimate community interest/people willing to put money towards it? (https://www.rayswheels.co.jp/products/wheel.php?lang=en&wheel=VR21A)
From my understanding, I believe...
Interesting, admittedly I hadn't done much research in to it. They were a really popular brand on the FT86 platform I used to own but I didn't hear much about them for Supra's and never looked much past that. I guess I'll be choosing between HKS, MBRP or Invidia now lool
Extreme Online Store Catback is probably one of the cheapest ones on the market that seems to be built somewhat well. Although I believe it's an AWE Touring Knock-off

Does Invidia actually make anything...
I went to code in a few more things yesterday now that I've passed the break-in mileage and I noticed that originally on my '23 MT (When I first tried coding months ago), I wasn't able to access the Advanced Crash Safety module to make any of the changes in there.
Yesterday after updating the...
I guess maybe a little uncommon but not entirely. I've been around cars my entire life and spent many summers between ages 11-16 working with my Uncles in their shops doing everything from basic maintenance to engine swaps and rebuilds.
I bought my MR2 when I was 15 and my dad had to drive it...
I don't not like it to the point where it's unlivable, I'm just used to how it feels to not have hill assist, and weirdly enough having it throws me off at times.
If it can't be turned off, I'll live with it and get used to it, but if there's a way to turn it off, I'd prefer that
Please update if you ever figure out how to turn off the hill assist ?
I've been chasing it for a while now but can't find anything in Bimmercode or anywhere, I must've read the manual front to back at least 3 times trying to find something in there.
I'm also hoping someone eventually does...
Yep, my maps is set to always allow and background refresh is on as well. It's something to do with iOS suspending processes for background apps while in CarPlay to help extend battery life, and for some reason it seems Google Maps is getting caught up in that.
Apple maps runs at the service...
I will say, my dealership made my experience basically as smooth as it could have possibly been, but I also have a lot of report built with the dealership as I spent a few years working at it, years ago now, but I know all the owners, managers, etc by name so my experience probably isn't...
I will say, for as good a car as this is, Toyota has really dropped the ball on the experience of buying one. I don't even really mind the current wait times, but if I'm gonna wait that long, it should be for the exact spec that I ordered, not what Toyota feels like allocating.
A car like this...
