SO MUCH WIN IN THIS THREAD!! Dare I say it, but I actually think a GT wing like the one Max Orido used on his earlier Ridox MKIV (the stalks of the wing swoop backwards and sit on the edge of the boot hatch) would suit the car well...

I wonder how long it will be before this front bumper design is copied by the aftermarket industry to fit onto the Toyota 86. (They did it with the LFA, so I bet they'll copy this too!

This picture, although not of high quality, for me really does it. Just look at that rear quarter and how the profile seems to get more muscular as you follow the line from the front fender to the rear. Or maybe it's just the angle the pic was taken from?

Was so hoping for a view of the rear... I was surprised to note that the presenter that intro'd the Supra is South African - that accent is unmistakable! I really am impressed with what I have seen and think it's safe to say the production model will be very close if not identical to the most...

Yeah, let's hope Toyota come out with a unique colour that will be a signature for the Supra. What if they create something similar to the midnight purple Nissan had on the GTR? :confused1:

Man I love black so much but after looking at the 86 in black I realised just how much of the body lines and features get lost in the colour. DJG just does it for me though... Wonder what metallic silver would look like...

I think it was Tada San that wanted to keep things simple. No turbo = less expensive Twins were created as kind of a blank canvas for owners to get creative with. Plus I think they knew all along the Supra was making a come back so they didn't want a more powerful 86 to creep into that...

I think they did resolve this issue in the facelift model - for the MT version anyway.
