Hi guys
As the title suggests, has anyone used the OEM tires on wider wheels, particularly the 255/35 on 10J wheels and the 275/35 on 11J wheels?
How much of a stretch would it be?
Any cons?
Thanks
Hi guys.
Long shot, but has anyone tried this combo?
I know that the front springs will need to be replaced with linear springs and may need to be slightly shorter than the HKS ones to accommodate the height added by the air cup but has anyone actually done this?
Some confirmed info will...
Sorry, I should have specified I'm from South Africa. They responded quickly enough and advised me to speak to the local agents but I was hoping I could get feedback from the community here.
Hi guys.
I've queried this with Work Wheels USA but they redirected me to my local agents (who I've spoken to already).
A set of 19" Work Meister S1 3P wheels are available locally but the specs are a bit aggressive:
Front:
19x10.5
+24
R disc
Rear:
19x12
+42
O disc
Will these fit on...
Based on the specs for the 19" S1 3P,what tire specs would they recommend?
So just to confirm, those specs would not need any camber or other adjustments or any fender work, even when moderately lowered?
Thanks.
Sorry. Some specifics. Wheels are currently 3 piece 18" x 11 with 22 offset old school Jap wheels.
Toying with the idea of stepping them up to 19" with new barrels and lips to get to 9.5 f and 10.5 rear final size.
Haven't bought the wheels yet cos I'm not sure if the offsets would work as...
Has anyone gone with a 22 offset wheel in the rear with 19" wheels?
What is fitment like and what tires did you opt for?
Will they even work or poke too much?
Thanks
Hi guys.
Has anyone heard of or had any 1st hand experience with Kavaca paint protection film?
How does it compare to Xpel Ultimate Plus?
The Kavaca ppf is distributed by Ceramic Pro here in South Africa.
Thanks.
Hi all
I can finally say with pride and joy that I am officially a Toyota GR Supra owner.
I fetched my brand new Prominence Red 2020 Toyota GR Supra on the 21/10/2020.
I drove approximately 70 miles (113km) to collect the car.
For those interested, here's a little background info:
I have...
GR Supra Matte Grey: ZAR 1 092 300 (USD 78 761.38)
GR Supra: ZAR 1 072 300 (USD 77 319.26)
GR Supra Track: ZAR 953 000 (USD 68 717.02) Available in Red only**
ROE as of 15/07/2019: USD 1.00 = ZAR 13.87
Well, I guess they have a proven formula that they know works, already probably had a worked 2JZ at their disposal and considering the level they are competing at, this makes a bold statement... Just my 0.2c.
It seems like the lower spec JDM models will have the same exterior (LED headlights etc) bar the premium 19" wheels and bigger brakes...
If the "SZ-R is made available in South Africa it may be a good option if considerably cheaper than the "RZ". I suspect that the RZ will be priced at ZAR 1...
What? Nobody's gonna talk about the FnF reference? LOL!
It's been said before, but I'll say it again: "Under promise - over deliver..."
Car looks great and kudos to Toyoda San for the enthusiasm.
