When did you purchase your MKIV? I still think that the MKIV Supra was a giant fluke by Toyota at the time. The cars did not sell well when they were launched, they were regarded as odd looking at the time and honestly.... for the price at that time, people would have rather bought a Porsche and...
I think it would be pretty hard to pull off. If the car had a longer wheelbase and was larger, I would be all over it. Being that it's pretty much the same size as the 86, i think it would look odd
Maybe I'm the only one interpreting it this way, but I think he means the current car that is coming to market is 385bhp and not talking about the GRMN version or a mid cycle refresh. This could also just be an easter egg for us from Toyota. @Guff did the car feel more powerful than the stated...
ehhh... maybe. I just prefer the GT look over a smaller Porsche looking car. I guess I would have to see the MKIV and MKV side by side in real life without all these bizarre camera angles to mask the sizes. I am not a huge fan of the mkv, but I am happy Toyota gave it the green light. I'm sure...
I think it will be a fun car to drive and even more fun when we turn the boost up! As far as reliability goes, only time will tell. If this car follows suit to how BMW's are priced in the used market, then I can see myself picking one up after 3-4 years for pretty damn cheap.
This is great news, but also pisses m off. There is obviously a demand for this car and has been for years... just look at this article. The fact Toyota didn't go all out on this thing disappoints me. Regardless, I'm excited to see how well it does in its first couple of years here in the US.
Because we live in a society where every male gets offended or hurt when someone doesn't agree with them
Point and case. I'm not trying to drag the MKV through the mud lol. I simply love the Celica GT4 and always have. If given the opportunity to choose between the two, I would choose...
Wouldn't be a bad idea TBH. They spent a ton on R&D for the LFA... would make logical sense for them to trickle down tech/designs to other Lexus and Toyota models
