Well that's the thing, a Toyota DM in the Bay Area said Toyota has allocated all A91-MT already. I don't know if that means that dealers have been notified of those allocations yet or if it means that allocations have already been distributed and are no longer happening. With the A91-MT making...
Aww man, that's awesome and I'm glad! Was it Adrianne that helped you? She is incredible and satisfied every bit of my obsessiveness. They're a fantastic dealer with great ethics and a business that truly values relationships and employees. Makes me happy to hear that you were able to snag that...
It's actually not too bad. A good friend owns the shop, so I'm getting cut a pretty good deal for extremely meticulous and quality work. About 35% off of a normal full body quote for a reference point.
First, congrats! Second, what I meant is that every dealer that is due to get an A91 should have been notified on their allocation days every couple weeks. Again, just a rumor that came from a Toyota DM in the Bay Area.
It’ll be exciting when yours arrives! It’s fantastic.
About a month ago, there was word that all of the allocations for A91-MT have been distributed in all regions. Not sure how much truth this holds, but I've not seen any unreserved in California that aren't marked up. Even 10k over allocations have been snatched.
I was very curious about Xpel Stealth on this color and I'm glad I wasn't the one to try it. I'm sure it'll look cool in the sun, but it just looks like a phantom now haha.
Should be coming home this week. I think all that is left for PPF is the trunk and rear bumper :). It's almost been a month and it only has 400 miles on it.
If the window sticker on the actual vehicle doesn't have it listed, most likely the port couldn't fulfill it and the cost won't be included in the MSRP. Confirm with the dealer though, but that's what happened to me. I had CF mirror caps on my vspec, but the actual vehicle didn't along with the...
Whatever is on the vspec sheet is what you'll get charged since those are port installed accessories unless the port couldn't fulfill any item listed as "PIO" on the vspec sheet.
That's not to say that the dealer cannot tack on whatever they want, cause they can and it's been done before...
It can be about a month. Here's my timeline from my 2022 when you were able to inspect vspec sheets for status lol.
1/22 - Production confirmed
2/15 - Build completed
3/26 - Left port @ Zeebrugge
4/29 - Arrived @ Port of Long Beach
5/10 - Switched to F status - Finished processing at Port of...
I sure did. I told him I’d refuse the car if they didn’t leave it untouched lol. Asked for minimal PDI.
I really wanted to make my unwrapping video lol.
