I have the KW DDC PNP installed.
PNP uses the factory controller and is substantially firmer than stock (same as v3 IMO). DDC ECU is different, it is adjusted by the KW controller instead.
Thanks. Helpful writeup. I installed one of these: https://vantrue.net/Goods/detail/gid/68.html
I used the 12 volt power point in the boot, since hardwire seems to be an issue for the car.
I had to remove the bolt on the boot lid hinge to get the wire to pass through. Unfortunately, this...
Intake sound not noticeable on my car with/without the rubber plug. HKS exhaust drowns out any intake sound.
Interested whether people get better or worse performance with the plug. I put it on so I don't have an extra spare part to keep...
When I used Bimmercode to disable ASD, I got a CEL Error: #101F01. Went away after I reverted the change.
I found disabling ASD thought Bimmerlink preferred.
Sorry to hear.
Outside of medical treatment, dash cam footage, witnesses to the accident and/or recorded/written apology/admission from the other driver would be the priority. In my experience, sometimes it gets sketchy after the party at fault talks to their insurance/lawyer.
There is a complimentary check up one month after picking up the car.
First service is 1 year after picking up the car or 15,000 km whichever comes first. You don't have to worry about stickers etc, since the car should display a service message as it comes close.
Hi all,
Looking for an orange one that will work on N54 as well. MHD says they do not have an Australian retailer for the adapters.
Anyone know where I can get one shipped to Australia?
Thanks.
Oh professional photos of my car with the TE37 Ultra Track Edition II are up... (F19x9.5 +20 R19x10.5 +30)
Sorry, I don't know how to take photos from instagram, so just a link...
Driver's side "ceiling" of footwell, to the far right. The adapter does not have a cover, so you can feel the grooves.
I picked up Veepeak for Bimmercode for $50 AUD from Amazon AU (reasonably cheap I thought)...
Hi all,
Just an FYI, this is the response I got from Toyota Australia in regards to the implementation of Apple CarPlay. I was one of the preorder customers and I sent it to the Supra concierge service.
"Thank you for your email. Apologies for the delayed reply.
At this stage I’ve been...
Can confirm it is not available in Australia ATM and sadly it seems to be excluded from the Toyota and BMW backward integration.
I was very disappointed as well as I thought it was standard for the car... since I understand it is available in Europe as well. Perhaps it is a matter of time? It...
The exhaust tips should be able to be knocked off (standard for BMW) and you can slip on the new tips. If this is not possible, saw and weld/clamps is the way to do it. Muffler shop is a good idea to get it professionally done.
There have been a few odd homebrew solutions in this thread...
Yeah, I thought about using matte black tape (that stuff that is like a blackboard) to cover the exposed steel, but I gave up after I realised the speaker material was off-white... May change my mind in the future.
Finally got this done. Thanks for the help guys, particularly @tadda, @Kiwi Greg and @stacyoz.
I kind of made do with the stuff I could find locally in OZ, so it looks a little different.
Mesh was from stationery, partner was looking for a document tray and I didn't mind a new pen cup, so cut...
Yes, there is a soft but noticeable drone to the exhaust note in cabin.
I don't find videos and sound recordings helpful to hear drone, so as a point of comparison, it is less than the drone from my A80 (headers, 3.5" pipes, high flow cat and HKS Super Drager catback) which is quieter than...
