Sounds really good. Nice exhaust crackle. Guy seemed to have a little problem exiting the same corner. A little loose. .... I like that.
Sounds like a DCT/Auto.
A simple hybrid system adding torque at pre-boost levels would be ideal. I would prefer no electric motors powering the front wheels. Keep the car simple and RWD.
Interesting that Tada san didn't offer any power variants for the 86, but the Supra apparently is going to have different power plants obviously at different price points.
Autoguide is also saying Frankfurt for the production Z4.

Pretty informative video. Agree that this Supra is not going to be a world beater or super car. Never it's intention. The Supra should be the next step up from the 86 with a reasonable price tag. A couple of things that is troubling. Hopefully that single pot brake caliper in the rear is...
Those vertical trim pieces just below the head lamps makes the car look like its crying.
This car is a step in the right direction, but the car is still 1st: luxury. 2nd: performance. This fits perfectly in the Toyota line up. The FT-1 should be lower priced and have a definite performance...
All good man.
Had the R8 1st. Needed an economical DD and had many Celicas as a young driver. Enter the FR-S. Loved that car, but ..... wanted something with more power.
Owned 3 911s prior to the R8. 996TT, 997cab and 997TT. Wanted something more exotic ..... hence the R8.
Had the R8 for 3...
HKz ... you sure like to banter and I like it.
IMHO ... a halo car should be somewhat attainable so that the general public can see these cars out in the real world instead of reading about them in mags. The Audi R8 is a perfect example of how a halo car is done. The R8 is obtainable...
Agreed on the exhaust note. The body is underwhelming for the $. Under powered at 550 hp. Plenty of cars that can put it to shame.
If Toyota would have built a mid-engined LFA .... than maybe, just maybe it would have been worth it's price tag.
I'm not sure the LFA project was a win for Toyota. Wish they would have used all that R&D $$$$$$ towards building some ALL Toyota sport cars for those people who can't afford the ultra-uber LFA.
