Registering a signal booster does f*** all, it's just a bureaucratic red tape thing so if people are having issues with their cell service, the FCC (or whoever) can come bug you about it.
Source: have installed many a whole-home/office signal booster.
This is the most trash wireless charging in the history of wireless charging, maybe ever.
If all it takes to fix it is unplugging a cell booster then I'm going to be both pissed and relieved.
Why is it even necessary to add a booster specifically to the wireless charger? How does that even...
I have the lane keep assist and some other junk turned off, but left the parking sensors on. The lane keep assist is hyperactive on the narrow rural roads around here. Only really "works" on the interstate which is a good bit wider and more consistent. Plus it's always fun trying to dodge...
Does this automatic braking stuff exist on the MT cars? Can it be turned off? Seems like a lot of people have problems with it.
A buddy of mine had an F150 that would slam on the brakes about one out of every twenty times you passed a semi. Of course the dealer could never replicate, so he...
Sorta OT, but how do you feel about that setup? It looks a bit taller than stock. Does their knob retain the boot very well? Easy to attach their boot to the retainer ring from the OEM boot?
A few weeks back I got flashed by someone. Haven't been flashed since I was in my early 20's.
People rubberneck at this car constantly and probably half of my motivation in getting the MT Supra over a new or slightly used Cayman was to draw less attention. I live out in the boonies and I think...
I was considering a ND2 RF when I bought the MT Supra. I test drove several of them.
They're great cars, but the Supra is more complete and not much larger. Mazda needs to bring back the Mazdaspeed and have two engines, with the current engine being the base and the Mazdaspeed being...
Even if you don't have a 15 Pro, the wireless charging pad in this car is the worst I've ever seen. It just heats my iPhone up until it turns off due to thermal protection and doesn't actually charge it.
And lest ye claim that the problem is running wireless charging with wireless CarPlay at...
The MKV is pretty poor on storage space too, I wouldn't recommend it as someone's only car for that reason alone.
I can fit about 3/4 of a cart full of groceries in the Supra. But I just keep in mind what I plan to buy and drive the Taco instead if I need the room.
S550 Mustangs, despite the...
Only the MX5 is actually light and is faster than the 86, but with less power.
The Toyobaru twins are only about 500lbs down on a Supra. It's a lot, but it's not ~1000lbs like the Miata.
I've driven Miatas and Toyobarus. I fully understand what they have to offer. The Supra is a more...
The 86 twins would be a blast with 300HP or so.
It's annoying because I feel like they missed the second golden age of horsepower (2010-2020 or so.)
The stars aligned with emissions regulations and tech for big power numbers on almost everything, and what does Subaru (Toyota) do? Wheezing NA...
'round these parts, a bitterly cold 30°F Texas day would be a welcome respite and likely cause to break out a t-shirt to walk the dogs.
Probably no 0W needed in Texas. ;)
Mobil 1 Full Synthetic (Euro Car Formula) 0W-40 with API SN certification has been slowly getting replaced in the US with one that has API SP certification.
It has BMW Longlife 01 approval.
In looking at oils in alternative weights, the two things I would look for is either API SN+ or SP and...
You're splitting hairs between them honestly.
Which interior/exterior do you like more? Get that one.
People rave about how the Supra has the best factory BMW shifter, but to me it still feels like a BMW shifter. It's still very nerfed. Note that I've not driven them back to back, but I'd...
IMO, you want an uncommon car that doesn't draw too much attention, get a GT350 with factory stripe delete or delete the stripes yourself.
Nobody knows what the hell a GT350 is, or how special the engine is, or about any of the rest of the track-oriented features. It'll be like you're in...
