Do you have to pull the turbo/manifold to do this or is there a way to only pull the inlet/wastegate side off?
seemed like a dumb question when I was posting it. I see the 5 bolts from the back that look like they are holding the inlet side together for shipping? Is the cartridge pressed in so...
been looking at those. Doesn’t look that hard overall. Decided to go this way as I’m trying to keep out of the rabbit hole. Want the car mostly stock and around 500ish hp/tq.
yea. I guess I meant the oils needed. I might be able to catch the coolant in a clean container and reuse as lo my as it looks okay. Don’t care about the cost just don’t like dealing with coolant waste.
I’ve had 3 other turbo cars but never had to do any turbo work. I know if you’ve worked on turbos before you know this stuff but when the add for this just says undo a couple bolts and plug n play I didn’t think to really look into what’s involved
Crap. Should have looked at this before ordering. Looks like a pita and I don’t even have it yet. AA catted dp came with the gasket so you didn’t have to mess around and made for a better user experience. I don’t mind the effort it takes to install parts, etc. - just don’t like messing with not...

Same here. Actually started with a triumph spitfire, then 90 turbo mr2, then 95 gsx, then 98 gsx which I still have as it’s a manual and just fun to drive (which was going to be a project car but wife and kids convinced I might hurt myself or die before completing it and to just get the Supra...
still not sure why the app can’t be made to work with apple carplay/android auto like maps/pandora, etc. - read the data however you need then output through CarPlay app to lcd. Or is that a licensing thingy?
Tried googling but…

or if anyone has taken out the stock speakers if there any model numbers.
TIA.
make sure they know to order the templates for any drilling. The boxes might be missing those and drill bits and sealant, etc. and they have an actual body person that can do it.
So got finally got the Toyota cf spoiler. It’s getting installed right now at Folsom service center - looks like they got a body guy that knows what’s going on.
Originally was supposed to happen at the concord Toyota service but that was a total cluster and that went so bad they actually...
