Just ordered this too with black tips from x-ph. Hopefully get it in the next 2 days too and will put on with the AA catted dp (also from x-ph) currently sitting in my garage.
I was checking the path of the oem ai and also saw it draws air somewhere under the passenger side headlight but havenāt taking things apart to see exactly where. But the grill under the hl looks like a 2 piece unit such that if you took the upper piece out you might get more air flow to the ai...
looking to get dp and exhaust but still want the best option for power without annoying the neighbors too much. Currently have jb+ but will be upgrading to jb4 and getting it tuned too. This is for a ā22.
hmm. So I guess Iām not sure what the difference is. I mainly donāt want to through any odd errors. Iām in California but most likely moving to Oregon before the next smog check (wink wink) so want the most bang/power for the buck.

Was going to do this myself but looks like the whole exhaust needs to come off and I donāt have a full car lift to manage that. Any shop recommendations in the Sacramento area to do this at a reasonable cost? Most likely going for the AA catted so maybe if I get it through them it might be...

Just curious when you get your track information after you apply. Iām guessing a couple weeks prior? I applied about 6 weeks ago and track day is about 2 months away but havenāt heard anything.
so I thought I read that a catted dp wonāt do anything unless you had a tune - so with jb+ would there be potential for a lot more hp/tq or would other tuning be required thatās not possible with the jb+?
Did some searching but didnāt find answers but are spacers (10/13)mainly cosmetic or does the additional inch-ish help in cornering. Mainly for stock setup that might see a couple of track days. Do they affect suspension such it needs tuning? Anything else to consider?

I sent the jb4 guys a question about the power increase using the jb+ on stock 2021/2. They should have some actual numbers for a stock w/91 octane. Iām guessing the max 4.5lb additional boost shouldnāt be a problem on the 21/2
