Wondering what you use to truncate data in the log files. I tried opening in ss. Looked for the timestamps to delete rows and resaved as a csv file but when I opened it back up in the jb4 log viewer there was a lot of empty space and some of the data options were not smooth anymore. Is there...
My first time was at Thunderhill. There’s a turn that’s a sharp 90 and my instructor was like BRAKE BRAKE. Well I didn’t brake enough and went off into to grass. He’s like - you okay - and I’m like. Yea. Let’s get back on the track. Had to stop at the pit and explain and was an example in the...
Yeah. That’s the thing you don’t get at first is you will have an instructor keeping you and everyone else safe. Do some pre school stuff to know the flags and get the track map that might show where the flag people are. It’s really important to know the flags and positions more than just going...
I just got the Mann hu6022 filter off Amazon and whatever oil you want to use (check the thousands of oil threads). Filter socket if you want/need it - I also got the valve to replace the plug to make it a bit easier in the future.
Sheesh. I would keep the wheels until you get the right ones. Now the company has your money and the wheels and could create an excuse about building the new ones and not deliver them and then have to deal with getting your money back.
Hope this isn’t too dumb a question. I know some drivers spray water mist onto an intercooler to reduce temps. Wondering if that would help on the radiator. I know the heat transfer would be lower but seems it could still help.
Not absolutely sure but I think there’s a time limit too. I don’t think has to do with the mileage. I had 1200 ish on mine and asked them to do one of the free ones and they did it - right after the first track day. Second one was around 5000. Now I do my own.
Asking those that have the quickjack - is the 5000 good enough? Did you get the tlx version (I have other vehicles I want to use this with)? And any issues after using a while - I’ve read some Amazon reviews about leaking around the seals?
TIA
Running the jb4 with fuel sensor set at 70 and fuel-it (this is only for showing e content in jb4) but I also am running water/meth injection and did the DAW hypercore upgrade, AA dp. Running around e30-35 w/91 oct and hitting 27psi and still under 45 trims worst case. Feels really good.
What kind of sound? I had an inconsistent clunk and found one of the camber plates loose. Also, it’s good to check bolts/screws on any underbody panels - if any of those are loose you can get a lot of annoying rattles.
