Just an update. I ordered the pmu999 exactly 2 weeks ago from Blackhawk and just got a notice about shipping. Says they’ll be here tomorrow?? Haven’t got a tariff bill yet.
I got one of those really small screwdrivers they give out for free - like you would stick in a pocket protector and notched it so it would catch the spring easily.
So it looks like shipping is $60 ish and import tax for US is about $60 too for $300 purchase. Still seems like a good deal. Is that about what you figured? (Wasn’t sure if you were in calif or Canadia)
I realize that web page pics could be wrong but the pics on both of those links are way different even though descriptions are for fronts. Assuming both are stock front?
Well. I have a AZ a91-cf. I originally wanted it since it had the oem cf and that was more unique as far as a91s go (to me anyway). I wasn’t going to mod but did it anyway. Mild mods that I installed myself. Daw hypercore, Dinan exhaust, AA dp, jb4, wmi, MSS has, verus camber plates, e35, front...
More of a general question but I saw a previous post where you said to watch the torque value. What does that value represent? I don’t think it was mentioned at the beginning of this thread.
yea. I’ve got the daw hypercore, wmi, and 91oct/e35 and I can chirp 3rd but not 4th. I can feel it still pulling hard in the upper rpm’s unlike the stock turbo. It’s a jb4/Jesse tune but it’s hitting 26psi with good timing/temps/fuel, etc. might be able to push it a bit more.
I installed the update about 2 weeks ago and decided to try stage 3 and actually like that better over stage 2 for daily in non sport mode. Sport mode when you get on it definitely shifts at higher rpm’s (like at 7k) and downshifts faster during braking. I don’t feel like it shifts too hard...
e85 at pump around here is about $3.50/gal. I just bought a bunch of 5 gal gas cans and fill them up. I’m only running e35 so use 2.5 gal each time. I may start doing a mix with 100oct so I get 93 for a little more oompah.
I think the question has to do with the n54 procedures where the adaptive stuff was disabled (at least how I was reading it) during the tuning process and reenabled when done for a specific run. But we dont really do that on this platform - right?
not sure if this makes a difference to most people but at Sonoma everything up to 100 is unleaded and the 105/110 are leaded. But for next time I’m buying a few 5g jugs and filling those up before getting to the track.
