Thanks. I actually have the FP upgrade already on the JB4.

And I know there are addtl mods to go with an upgraded turbo. Just trying to not double buy things if I can just buy one flex fuel kit that will work now as well as in the future so I dont have to just trust my own math and measurements to know the E blend.
Like a pure 600/hypercore would be easy on JB4 but anything bigger, I'd recommend unlock and a BEF to pair with the JB4.

Are there any base MAP 6 settings recommendations that we all can start with and dial up or down after some datalogs runs? Say auto, intake, JB4 without the upgraded fuel board.

100% dependent on the fuel.

Map 1 is probably all you can get out of 91.

A map 6 between Map 1 and 2 is best for 93:

Heres a good visual (i think) of getting MT cars to work right on JB4:

Reduce duty bias until calc_tq stays below 48 to prevent triggering "injection monitoring", where the car will pull boost if it thinks its using more fuel than it should. This car needs a reduction in duty5000.

Too low can cause an underboost limp mode, harmless, but you probably reduced FF or duty by too much. you want as high as possible while keeping calc_tq under 48

Hello Colonel! Im new to the game and I see you all around the forum, I wanted to get your thoughts on my logs or atleast help pointed in the right direction! I do have a 2021 2.0 so idk if im welcomed in this thread lol but im worried about running to lean and knock, as of rn I have a Air Intake, downpipe, charge pipe and turbo inlet pipe, with the jb4. I had over boost problems and Terry helped fix it alot by changing ff down and firmware change but im still getting overboost sometimes.

Back end flash. It’s a weird term for having the ability to flash the DME but still using a piggyback for some odd asinine reason.
Some people like to be able to one-tap swap boost maps without ever having to turn the car off or re-flash.

That being said, why would they not just use multi-map...? Silence, nay-sayer, buy both products.

Was going to say, that is what multi-maps are for, switch via the steering stalk/wheel in real time. I've even done that mid lap at the track.

I don't see any knock on map 2, timing is pretty solid. You can try dropping FF down by 5 to see if it helps the overboosting

I don't need to dig into this more in this thread out of respect but I honestly think that with the time you have put in figuring out all these new hacky features with the JB4, you could have easily learned how to tune in MHD+. The custom code in MHD+ makes it much easier to tune than the standard OEM strategies.

yeah you probably aren't wrong, there just aren't really many resources besides what you contributed, which is greatly appreciated.

Honestly I'd love to just run a compare bin on stock vs an OTS map, I learn best from reverse engineering 😂
