Just an update. I ordered the pmu999 exactly 2 weeks ago from Blackhawk and just got a notice about shipping. Says they’ll be here tomorrow?? Haven’t got a tariff bill yet.

If you're signed up for UPS My Choice you'll get an email saying you can pay import charges online and it saves you from paying the $12 Cash on Delivery Fee.

Still cheaper than getting club racers from Evasive which would have broken down to:

That was my calculations too... Couldn't justify the high premium of CSGs

I only ran the endurance CSGs (most expensive ones) and didn’t like them compared to the P mu 999s. Probably their race pads are better? Regardless, that really sold me on the 999s after that. I have 2 sets to sell to local friends. They punch way above their price

Curious if anyone has tried the lower bite N+ or HC+ from PMU? My Pagid RSL29's have another few track days left in them, but I figured I'd try some new sets. I tend to like pads with lower initial bite but still able to hit ABS on 200tw tires if I mean it. Looking through the catelog those two appear to be the ones that are closest to the Pagid setup I have now. I would have tried the PMU 777's or HC M1's but they both aren't made for the Supra anymore.

I was thinking about buying a set of the 999's as well just to see what I thought since they're pretty cheap in comparison to some others.

As in they fade? The temp range says they are mostly the same (which does seem dubious) and the Mu is also similar. I ASSumed the N+ and HC+ were closer in style to the RSL29/GLOC R8 and would be worth a try while the 999 would be more in the DTC60/70 range which I always found to be too much initial bite.

Curious if any one runs the pmu 999s on their daily? I have a set now but wasn’t going to put them on until around feb/mar and wasn’t sure if I should swap out current ones. I have the club racer on now and not what I’d call noisy but I don’t drive it daily. I noticed the operating temp range is lower on the 999 so seems like they my be better.

also. Would it better to leave the cr on the rear when I do swap the front? I just went to group 3 and even then had a few drivers say I could go to Grp 4 but not interested in that right now.
