Just my opinion... PPF seems to magnify imperfections from my experience. I had rock chips on one of my cars that I had PPF'd and it stuck out like a sore thumb. TBH, i would bring it back and ask them to look at it again to see if those imperfections can be wet sanded out.
But yes, for $1100...
Sorry to heat that man. Did you at least make a trip to Bmw Invasion? It was a pretty nice turnout and overall a great event. I regret not keeping my MKV long enough to bring it down for the event.
Good luck! Glad that it seems to be a relatively easy fix. I would glady have that over...
Check your regional forum to see what dealers everyone is using and if they are mod friendly. Id have to guess there's gotta be a big group in NC that can point you in the right direction. Either way, I would disconnect the JB4 and remove it before bringing it in to avoid any hassles.
My car...
Comparing OTS maps to an ECUTek tune, yes the cost difference seems substantial.... But
once you start adding in the cost of the Flex fuel add-on and custom tuning I feel the cost difference diminishes.
for catted, cheapest Ive seen was CTS turbo.... Seen a guy here needed a cat to trade his car in and used one, but he still needed to keep a tune on it to turn off the CEL. Good luck!
My car sat a lot with e50 in the tank. Just my observation.... If I drove it daily it fires right up, if it sits for a week it did crank a little longer.
they had a slightly larger gap than what the Supra calls for so i gapped them to OEM spec. I’ve read plenty of @Twisted Tuning’s posts and I still let the hype get to my head and used the colder plugs, stocks are perfectly fine and with 15k they were still in good shape.
my car ran e50 so I was...
I ran the stocks for 15k miles and then switched to Titan's plugs. Supposed to be a 1 step colder plug, but performance-wise I could not tell a difference.

I’ve got a brand new one in Jacksonville $250 picked up. I bought it from extreme powerhouse before they stopped selling them. I ended up going catted

stock lugs work fine, i ran the for several months before going to wheel studs..... I would recommend doing wheel studs if you change your wheels alot.
