  1. B58 Engine Shot

Watch "I do cars" on youtube. For instance the one with the veloster 1.6.
  2. Track-friendly upgrades?

Wait I didn't even complain about SUVs in my last message, how do you know I don't like them?? 🤣
  3. Track-friendly upgrades?

I'm always so shocked how much you guys want to modify your car from day 1, especially for a dual purpose car. I would recommend: -brake pads that can do street/track, for instance endless mx87 or ebc bluestuff -dual purpose tires, for instance goodyear supersport -in my case sway bars improved...
  4. Low Dust Brake Pads for the GR Supra

Those are track pads, so for OP it would be a list of pads NOT to buy. As far as I know, low dust means ceramic pads, but I mever tried any.
  5. Milk for your motor

No 0W8 available? This is what I use in my Q8 E-tron.
  6. ALIGNMENT ISSUES. /// HELP

It has already been explained a few times in this forum. If you have quick wear on the inner edge toe is the biggest culprit, not camber. In the front you can run zero toe or just a bit of toe in. In the rear you need a bit of toe in, 0.10deg per side is fine, but I don't understand the total...
  7. 225/45/18 Winter Tires

I don't own winter tires but that you be a standard size in germany (accepted by our TĂĽV). So I would not be worry by the size. Of course you need to check the load rating and max. speed
  8. Brake pad recommendations?

EBC is not so liked in a lot of forum, including this one, and it's often deserved. But I tried the RP1 and RPX in front lately, the RP1 is endurant but the bite is too low on our stock calipers, the RPX has a ton a bite and endurance, much more than OEM. The RPX are also dusty and squeal like...
  9. Worth dropping 5k on a tune? Looking for real-world opinions

Hi Topperino, I'm also in germany and kept mine stock power. I would say it depends what you want to do with your car. For only driving on the road, we have already too much power and grip to my mind and I find this car a bit boring without terrorizing the locals. If driving on the track it...
  10. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I agree but there could be 2 possibilities: 1-Driving on track with ESP activated is very tough on rear brakes. 2-Stock caliper the inner pads seems to get much hotter than outer pads, but I guess removing the heatshield should be more efficient than changing the caliper...
  11. Kuhl Racing wing is growing on me

I would be a bit worried how to install because the trunk is not so strong where it's attached. The heart taillights though are amazing ?
  12. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

You did nothing wrong, just forget about those fools. With time I understood the best is to let people pass, even if they are just a fraction faster than you, so you can hunt them down and learn from them.
  13. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I have the millway camber plates, can't feel any different nvh or comfort wise honestly. Swaybar degrades comfort much more in comparison. You apparently need close to -4deg camber to have a nice wear in the front though, and this is a lot for the road.
  14. Damaged Carbon fiber front lip - worries

Anyway the particules happened during the scraping. The scraped spoiler should not create any afterward. I don't want to stress further any hypochondriac, but between traffic pollution, people smoking and all, don't worry about that
  15. trash site

I would not go with track pads for low dust. For street usage, they will "probably" just makes more dust, more screeching noise, wear the rotors faster, and not brake so we'll when cold. Mx72 are great pads in those aspects, but still track pads... Maybe you should look at ceramic pads instead?
  16. Red interior Bleeding, how do you combat this?

More seriously do you have any ring on that hand?
  17. Stock 2020 2Port numbers

Hello, What type of number do you mean? The temperatures measured? I have an unmodified engine, but check only the following: Temperature after intercooler is always 30-40degC while driving, on track reach 50-60degC. Coolant temp are always great even on track so I don't remember Oil is at...
  18. 2021 Engine Oil Issues

Yay, another oil discussion!! Joke aside, I did 2 months ago an oil change, added "only" 6.4l of oil because I did not change the filter (it's done once a year at the dealership anyway). Started the car, everything feels fine, idrive tells me level is 100% without any overfill. By curiosity I...
  19. OEM rear brake pads worn in less than 25k miles (40k km)

Sorry I had a brain fart I guess and read your rear pads were gone after 40 miles... Your pad wear looks great honestly, mine look like shit because of track use. They would also look worse if you had a a blocked cylinder (which would be weird on a new car). Is your shop (or yourself??)...
  20. OEM rear brake pads worn in less than 25k miles (40k km)

You probably cut the rear brake sensor. No way you burned the OEM rear pads that quick
