My biggest disappointment is the amount of torque and power for european roads, 2 seconds on the right pedal and my driving license look at me with anxious eyes ?.
With a dip stick you should wait a few minutes after the engine ran and before checking, so oil has time to get back in the pan. For an electronic level sensor, I’m not so sure how it works (level? Pressure? Debit meter?)
Water vapor has at equivalent mass 3 times more greenhouse effect as CO2. It is also from far the biggest cause of greenhouse effect (something like 90% if we take the clouds into account).
I think our politicians/elites will just try to punish us whatever the reason until we all ride electric...
Hi everybody,
Did someone found a simple yet elegant way to prevent your knee to bang on the doorspeaker while on track ?
I never had issue on the road but finished with a little bruise during my last track day.
Sorry guys but I don't get the link between high intake temps and blown turbo, I also believe the car should have just went into limp mode
Maybe oil temperature/pressure is a more logical culprit here?
I understand you don't have a good tool to monitor your temps, I personally use a cheap OBD2...
Thanks for the tip!
Just to make sure, only the US downpipe is heavier, right? The EU full line has to be heavier because of the particle filter.
Maybe Valhariel is just looking for the noise, our exhausts are much quieter?
I'm in germany but I guess that's similar price-wise. Toyota quoted me yesterday 275,66 € just for 6,5l of oil . This is madness
I hope they will accept to use Castrol or Liqui Moly. I care about oil, but not if it is to be robbed.
Correct, my supra built in 02/2022 doesn't burble either, even in sport mode and pushed. I thought it was because of the particulate filter, but it's possible they changed the map on newer models.
Please guys, in europe we won't even receive the new Z because of their "environment" regulations (and we are right now above 8$/gallon for reference).
So please just buy the sh$t out of these 2 cars so manufacturers keep making them.
Thanks a bunch!
To sum up the initial question:
-The front center radiator uses coolant to cool the compressed air AND the A/C condenser
-The 2 from sides radiators uses coolant to cool the engine itself AND the transmission(page 38)
->I suppose both coolers are linked to both the engine...
I hated the rims in pictures but after seeing for real they are fine.
I think that what bothers me if the shiny part while all the rest of the car is not. In black or dark grey the oem wheels looks fantastic.
Plus we have a particle filter in our exhaust and these are heavy. There is no way the european version is lighter than the international models, electric leather seats or not.
I have the exact same vibration happening on my new supra (built 02.2022). I'm in Germany and we have very good roads, so it easy to feel. Just thought it was a bad tire balance or tire thread effect until I read this thread.
Could it come maybe from a toe in or toe out alignment? Some kind of...
PS4S best overall but not the best contact feel.
Continental better feeling but slightly less grippy. The Potenza sport is somewhat similar to the Continental.
The Falken are much cheaper, worse that the 3 others but still great in the rain.
Source: and all the time I waste looking at many tire...
Aha, don't worry, I didn't want to sound like a smart ass :innocent:.
I would also go down with 18' wheels for the track as Kiske mentionned, but mostly because curbs (or rumble strips? How do you call these things in english anyway??:dunno:) can be harsh, I would be afraid to crack a wheel or...
As proud owner of a not very torquey engine, I believe the 1 pound equals 10 pounds only work for rotating masses (tire, wheel, brake disc) and the more the weight is eccentric the biggest the effect. A lighter brake caliper will still helps your suspension to contact the ground though.
Hi f22bub, and everobody in the thread
I just subscribed to the forum since I'm interested to buy a 3.0 Supra in Germany. For now I negotiated 2 offers around 58k€ for the "Legend" (the cheapest 3.0 configuration in Germany) instead of a total price of 64.5k€ (that is to say 10% discount).
Can...
