I'm a self proclaimed audiophile and engineer myself having been at this for over 35 years...But if you know what your doing and are fairly handy you can upgrade the system for far less yourself...I actually enjoy the process of finding ways in which to improve the current setup...With the...
Agree to disagree here...
Yeah, I saw the speakers as well and the harmon kardons are actually fairly decent speakers....But I do agree that a amplifier upgrade would further improve the sound system quality...
Adding sound insulation in key locations (particularly the Subs) also greatly...
ECS was great to work with...you should have no problem switching out the ECS 15mm for Turners...They all are shipped from the same warehouse...Turner is a sister company of ECS btw...
thanks...love your pics...great area and setting!
I've been meaning to take a drive out to Saguaro National Park (about 15 miles away) to take some pics of my Supra there....
Surround is fine for movie tracks but from a audio purist perspective the phase delays added to create artificial spacial effects actually reduces clarity...Also this isn't dolby surround we're talking about either...
As it stands the Supras' OE systems' center and rear side speakers are...
I agree...These splash guards are one of the first things I added beside PPF applied to the front bumper area...I have absolutely no road rash or pitting of paint behind the wheels as a result...Also nice to not have mud splash ups....They are also a must have if your going to add wheel spacers...
Personally, I prefer just the wing...Having both a wing and spoiler installed looks a bit odd to me like someone couldn't make up their mind as to if they wanted a wing or a spoiler...
yeah, I pushed mine down from top and at the bottom pushed over more to the left ...
But with your floor mat installed that gap at the bottom would be hidden anyways....
Still looks good though...
Toyota specs the 2.0 @ 255hp (crank / engine hp) which with a drivetrain loss of 12~15% would put wheel hp around 217~224 whp....
Yea, it seems that the 2.0 spec doesn't appear to be underrated like the 3.0 was ...which begs the question as to what the MY21 3.0 Supra will dyno at? stay tuned...
Yes, that's what they told me when I enquired about their system...I was hoping they would keep the OE subs and treat them as woofers and also use their standalone sub...But they told me they disable the 2 OE subs in their setup....
