  1. Nearly Half Of 2023 Toyota GR Supra Buyers Opted For Manual Transmission

I agree with this set up. Automatic for track and 6MT for street fun/rowdiness. You know what's funny about manual? I work in the financial sector and very high pressure stressful job. Driving manual on the streets helps me disconnect from work because all I can think about are my gears and...
  2. Nearly Half Of 2023 Toyota GR Supra Buyers Opted For Manual Transmission

By any chance are you the same Kern417 from YouTube with the automotive and bmw channel? If so you the man by the way. I've learned so much from you the last couple of years in reference to the B58 or upgrades in general.
  3. To build or not to build?

Random question. I don't seem to hear a lot of people talk about or write reviews on the forum about the Pure 850. Seems like most people buy or talk about the Pure 800. How have you liked your Pure 850?
  4. Verus heat shield functionally

Random question. How do you like your Pure 850? I haven't seen many reviews on the forums of the Pure 850. It seems like the Pure 800 is the most common one.
  5. wiggle stick rookie seeking advice

I did the CDV delete recently as someone who grew up with manuals and it definitely made a difference. It wasn't like it turned me into Ayrton Senna, but it helped a lot. My wife who also drives manual very well was asking me what was wrong on my 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd shifts with the CDV...
  6. Donut - We Drove EVERY Supra

3000GT VR! I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos on VR builds. I guess the aftermarket support isn't all that great. I agree with this list. We need to get someone at Donus on this video idea.
  7. Nearly Half Of 2023 Toyota GR Supra Buyers Opted For Manual Transmission

You must have a stronger left foot than Messi himself.
  8. Nearly Half Of 2023 Toyota GR Supra Buyers Opted For Manual Transmission

I'm going on a rant, but we also forget that Toyota is not a charity or non profit. They are a business with shareholders. Their main focus is to sell cars. Why they didn't offer the 6MT at launch and now suddenly 3 years later we may never know. These Manual sales numbers show some people want...
  9. Nearly Half Of 2023 Toyota GR Supra Buyers Opted For Manual Transmission

Mental paddle shifters is the future. You just think about it and it clicks the paddles for you but you still feel engaged. I only chose a 6MT because this is my garage queen/weekend fun car. The debate is over about which one is faster because it's been the ZF8 and it's buttery smooth lightning...
  10. What did you do to your Supra today?

    Where was this?
  11. Donut - We Drove EVERY Supra

Donut is known for catering to their "purists" and those stubborn on the past. They did an episode on the best Honda Civics. How is the new FL5 not on the top of the list even though it broke the front wheel drive record around the Nurburgring and the most powerful Civic Type R to date? Oh...
  12. Best Catted Downpipe

Throttle response comes from ECU, information coming from the computer to the throttle body and of course the downpipe/exhaust being more free to breathe such as catted performance downpipe or catless and a performance exhaust system. It's all connected. Not easy answer.
  13. Best Catted Downpipe

It sounds excellent. Give it a couple days to settle it and it's almost as if the sound gets better. I have an ARK DT-S Exhaust system with the AA catted downpipe and I can't see myself going catless unless I had to due to a top mount turbo. The turbo spooling sound is addictive. More smiles per...
  14. Nearly Half Of 2023 Toyota GR Supra Buyers Opted For Manual Transmission

Even though the auto vs manual debate is eternal and pointless, here is a good video.
  15. To M2 or not to M2

I saw a Toronto Red on the highway a couple weeks ago and thought it looked great. I would never drive a red sports car unless maybe it was a Ferrari, but I can still admit it looked good.
  16. A91 manual transmission limits

I guess the question becomes: what is someone's power goal or end result? The last thing someone wants to do is build a clutch that they will then have to upgrade from again because they exceeded the powerlevels they thought they would be happy with.
  17. What did you do to your Supra today?

Holy cow. Your miles are low.
  18. A91 manual transmission limits

I might have misquoted him when what he really meant to say was clutchmasters also on other vehicles platforms. Then by association he was putting two and two together if a few A90s came in with clutchmasters that needed attention or were faulty. He said to go with Spec and I for the other...
