The first thing I did after driving it for a few miles was disable the lane assist and the brake alert stuff. Also, putting it in Sport or putting it in manual shift mode both disable the start/stop junk.
I am curious to see what other peoples gripes are with the car. Here's my current list:
1) Wind Buffeting with the windows down above 50mph.
2) Unused space on the gauge cluster! This is a performance car, and had so much track publicity, but I can't see anything other than fuel/coolant temp...
Same philosophy here. My drive home I took it easy, made sure no weird issues/noises. Then after that initial drive I let her rip.
I will be changing the oil after the 1200mi mark indicated in the manual (or first track day), whichever comes first.
FWIW, Toyota roll drum tests their cars 100%...
My dealer said mine will be in tomorrow morning, confirmed.
They also are now telling me they want to keep my car in the showroom for 3 days before I can pick it up.
Awesome, I feel a lot better seeing that lol.
I actually talked to another source about ācustomer modeā, and it turns out heās not totally wrong.
Apparently the cars are shipping in a ātransportation modeā that will limit speeds to 12mph. So the dealers PPI process includes an ECU unlock and...
My dealer just texted me informing me of a required 45 minute dealer drive of the car to engage customer Mode?!? Iāve bought a lot of new cars and have never heard of this one.
Anyone else getting this kind of story? Sounds to me like they want to take it for a joyride.
My quote for full coverage on the Supra was estimated to be $1469.12 annually in NC. Good driving record, no recent tickets or accidents.
My agent did say that this VIN didn't pull anything up in their system so this is purely an estimate based on value.
This has worked really well for another platform, so I am going to try to start it up for the Supra as well.
This thread will be for everyone to post up their personal bests at each track around the US. Please keep posts limited to time submissions, to avoid unnecessary clutter.

I called around until I found a dealership that agreed to sell for MSRP. I am not willing to pay over MSRP.
I can not fathom how dealers can not know virtually anything about a product they are selling you, but have the audacity to tell you if you want it, its going to cost you more than retail...
Late joiner to the club here.
I was an early adopter to the BRZ in 2012, and had it until last year when I sold it to move to the dark side.
I picked up a 2018 ZL1 1LE Camaro for tracking in May of 2018, and totaled it a year later exactly at the same event that I first raced it in.

Has anyone (besides the 1 person that's mentioned they have a VIN already) received any concrete information from their dealer they pre-ordered through confirming they are getting a LE?
The general consensus I'm reading here is that the dealers don't have a standard process for pre-ordering...
This will be an owners thread for future owners in North Carolina.
Eventually, I will start to plan local events/meet ups to get new owners together!
Post up your location in NC here once you pre-order or receive, and I'll add you to the master list on this page.
