A70.. thatâs some amazing news..Iâm not sure if it was covered before. Does BMW withdrawing from the Detroit auto show have any impact to Toyotaâs plans of unveiling the car there?
A lot actually.. thatâs why Iâm upset a company with such financial might and know how itâs screwing something that used to define them.
MKIVs of the 90s, UCF10 and 20 LS400s, legendary Land cruisers, Cressidas, ISF, GSF and even the current 8th gen Camry are nice vehicles.
Well.. that was a foot in mouth situation. Everyone knew they were building a car. Toyota started out doing a regular version and got carried away with something special like the MKIV Supra and couldnât back out of it and ended up with an awesome car. LFA is probably the last thing with a soul...
Fair point.. and I agree with you that it wonât change anything. But this is a forum thatâs discussing what Toyota is doing and people can voice their opinions here about things that are positive and negative.
Toyota that had a passion died in the 90s. Now they act like they care.. which is more frustrating than when they didnât pretend. Over stylized Lexus cars with slow crappy motors (reliable but not inspiring to drive) to obsolete trucks and SUVs, they will soon go down if they keep this up. Only...
Imagine if it were that easy to make Toyota understand.. lol. It took them countless years of journalists accusing them of making appliances that they actually started making somewhat decent stuff that only looked ok.. not drive cause it still used sub par power plants. Now they are at BMW...
Just looked up the National. My 95 NA had a 41k msrp and my TT had a base msrp of 45,200 and went to 49230 plus a 395 destination. Almost 50k msrp
There were cars at dealerships for over a year without selling. Dealership I used to work at around 02-03 had one on the show room floor for almost...
Thatâs exactly why I have a Viper, Z06 and a Mustang. Cause I respect my country and want to support them. However, Toyota does do a lot for the US and Iâd like to support them as well. Iâll be buying a TRD Pro 4Runner shortly, however I wonât be buying a Supra if no manual is available.
Never underestimate Toyota in failing.. they do it in flying colors!! Come up with a stupid reasoning for not bringing what the market wants every time. But they can justify 8 SUVs in the line up. Sad
Handbuilt low production car.. factory could only produce 8 a day. they sold every one they made and itâs probably the last pure sports car out there. If youâve never driven one then you are missing out. Amazing vehicle.
