  5. New (Unconfirmed) Details and Specifications of US-Spec MKV Supra:

You telling me people would pay 45k for a turbo 4 cylinder capped at 250? I only put the 40k 280 version as it would compete with STi and the hot hatches but at a lower weight and comeptitive pricing and styling. Unless it's like the cayman in weight, then I would be fine with it. As for the TT...
  6. New (Unconfirmed) Details and Specifications of US-Spec MKV Supra:

Nothing can be leaked without a lawsuit coming through. Also, as A70 has said above, not everything can be discussed or revealed as a lot of red herrings are getting tossed. If you want a TLDR; Potential 3050 lbs weight for the supra with potential horsepower varied from 300-400 on the trim...
  7. New (Unconfirmed) Details and Specifications of US-Spec MKV Supra:

They are rumors by insiders who have worked on the Supra or work closely with toyota so this is more than rumors. Like I said, get some wine/coffee, take a ride reading this thread from start to finish along with the itnerviews with Tetsuya Tada. focus on anything Guff or A70 may said as it...

  11. New (Unconfirmed) Details and Specifications of US-Spec MKV Supra:

Wonder how these cars will be named in trims. And if the single turbo is actually a four cylinder car running around. That would basically involve 4 sport cars with 2 models. I don't know how they can price this competitively though.
  12. New (Unconfirmed) Details and Specifications of US-Spec MKV Supra:

I forget that there aren't a mass of enthusiasts as much as there are people who like style and comfort and that is enough. I guess now we wait to see if there are more posts to come from this guy or someone else chimes in since we're all in the dark.
  13. New (Unconfirmed) Details and Specifications of US-Spec MKV Supra:

I'm really glad that this is all speculation because I gaurantee all the car journalists are furiously looking at the screen and hoping for bread crumbs to write their next piece. Speaking of RCF, what would cause someone to take the Supra over the RCf if they're roughly in the same price and...
  14. New (Unconfirmed) Details and Specifications of US-Spec MKV Supra:

Things jsut got very interesting. Now, I just want to know the ballpark range for weight on the low HP and mid HP version if it doesn't have the trans and electronic assist. I know you said there's no chance toyota will not include TSS but what are the odds of a~ 3150 lbs Supra now?
  15. New (Unconfirmed) Details and Specifications of US-Spec MKV Supra:

Well, the weight can't be determined, but if the car you tested was 3050 lbs before the TSS and the other gadgetry, I don't think toyota would allow the car to weigh 3500 lbs unless they somehow saved even more weight (unlikely) or this electronic gadgetry offsets the weight by providing insane...
  16. New (Unconfirmed) Details and Specifications of US-Spec MKV Supra:

Best Car noted that the car could go 0-62 MPH in 3.8 seconds. With a electronic turbo could make this possible. That's what I remembered reading. I'm more curious about the low HP version and what constiutes low to high. Cause if there's a 275-350-425 could work with different assists. Where's...
  17. New (Unconfirmed) Details and Specifications of US-Spec MKV Supra:

Well, he could have done it if he had blurred the licesne plate so when it was leaked, they wouldn't be certain to where the hell this came from. Now that the plate is there and the fact he said the neighbor is right there, they can track and get his ass liable for leaking information before...
