I bought the last set on the shelf at Bimmerworld - they actually had them in stock, vs having to get Pagid to dropship them. Finding them now might be a challenge. I'm guessing Pagid is like a lot of the other companies with race pads, they make them in batches and if you don't get a set from...
Yes, I think I have about 1K street miles on them so far. I don't trailer my car, so I drove from MD to SC and back this weekend for the track event. They are quiet (for race pads) and play nicely for street stops. Even after the track usage, they were decently quiet. I'm used to pads making...
I looked hard for the PMu Club Racers (per Bryan's recommendation) when I was shopping, but nobody had them. Ditto for the 999 at that time (May or early June...it's in this thread somewhere). I'd have the Club Racers if they were available, but you've made a compelling argument for the 999s...
I believe Vincent (the tall guy...I'm the short bearded guy) and I did 6 sessions on Saturday and 4 sessions on Sunday, so 10 total. Pad wear was minimal on the front from just eyeballing it.
I still have the used CSG front pads, but they have a little under 1/2 the pad material left, so I...
I'm inclined to agree with you on the IAT being obscenely hot. I've scanned some of your "look how much the Wagner IM drops IATs" posts in this thread.
I'm at this precipice I've reached on numerous other cars in the past - the list of stuff that I need/want for the car is piling up too...
Pagid RSL29 report card: Plenty capable track pad, but completely different feel than the CSG. Coming from the initial bite of the CSGs, the first couple of braking zones felt really strange with the Pagids. I overcooked several braking zones through the weekend trying to do what I'd have...
Jumping in to the "d@mn this car runs hot" thread after this weekend. A buddy and I shared the car this weekend at Carolina Motorsports Park, and I got the "I'm too hot" message on screen, and it absolutely pulled fuel/timing a couple of times and just felt like the car was hitting a brick...
I think this thread will probably help a lot. Also, for your search, use ECS02 instead of ECS2 - search results will be better.

I have 6 of the TSW Kemora, same specs as the Imatra - 18x10.5 et35. Bryan and I both bought the closeout TSWs around the same time. I paid $125/wheel for them, but any references you see to them today are 3x that price and generally out of stock. Mine have seen 2 seasons of track use and...
Same here. When I put on first set of track pads in '23, I zip-tied the sensors out of the way. My previous e36...sensors zip-tied out of the way. E36 before that one...same.
Moral of the story, you should be watching your pad wear very closely, and likely replacing them well before the...
Lots of good input...my $.02 RE: your next steps list, and added "-1.":
-1. Verus Camber plates - assuming you stay with stock or stock-style lowering springs. You need negative camber in the front for better turn in and to keep tire wear manageable. If you go to a full coilover, go with...
Subscribed...I'm planing on adding a wing, and I've been considering buying a sacrificial hatch for the wing since I like the idea of being able to return the car completely to stock at some point. Your adventures sound like it's a little more of a pain than it's worth.
Understood. Been there, got the t-shirt. The first time I registered for OneLap was 2019, and I had 3 straight years of car challenges or my planned co-driver bailing on me. It finally came together in '22. BTW, you must have a co-driver for the event, even if it's just someone who drives...
This is really just a "any low profile tire" thing these days. When 18" wheels were becoming more common a few years back, a friend of mine with an R32 on OEM wheels and tires kept bending wheels and blowing out sidewalls in potholes.
If you have bad roads...you're gonna kill tires...
275s on 10.5 here...and don't feel they are stretched at all.
For the sake of clarity, "stretched" can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. When I hear that, I'm thinking more stance styling with a truly skinny tire, like a 175 on an 8" or 9" rim, where the rim is significantly wider...
Registration opened on Saturday for the '25 OneLap...and there was a waiting list about 2 hrs after it opened. Thanks to some OneLap buddies, I knew it was opening on Saturday, and was carrying my laptop everywhere with me. I was on the way to the bar with my dog to meet a friend when I got...
+ 1 to the "buffeting makes the car undrivable" - at some speeds. It is very speed dependent. I have the Verus deflectors (too expensive...but pretty), and they DO make a difference. I've tested them up to about 140mph on track.
If you get in a Supra without them, roll down the windows...
Those are more interior detailing brushes for stuff like vents and hard to reach nooks/crannies.
I have one like this that gets used on wheels exclusively...
