Never thought of labels. I keep a notes tab on my phone with socket sizes for certain nuts/bolts, torque specs, oil capacity, etc. Its an easy to find reference and all in one place.
Agree on pre-owned. My wife bought me mine from her brother for my birthday…he got an SUV and needed a heavier model so it worked well for both of us.
Car has been hibernating in the garage for about 2 months, but today I installed M-style caps while it snowed outside. Ran into the common (?) problem where one of the mirrors wouldn’t adjust afterward. Thanks to this forum, found the fix pretty quickly - thanks!
Same problem….but how did you remove that piece in your hand?
UPDATE: I was able to leave the piece as is and just push down on the tabs from the outside and snap it back into place.
Personally, I love to see all the stuff y’all try out. It’s great to get some perspective before spending my own money. As for these mirrors, definitely not for me.
EVs are super quick but for me they lack some hard to define soul. I just prefer the orchestral mechanical complexity of an IC engine and transmission. The good news is there’s something for everyone so buy and drive whatever makes you smile.
I have 30s in the rear and 35s in the front. I did 30s in rear to be safe…but never had a single bump or rub. I’ll likely switch to 35s when it’s time for new tires.
I’ve got 19x11 +38 in the rear lowered 1” with 305/30 PS4S. Fits perfect…no rubbing…about 3/8” clearance on the inside. Going 11.5 or 12 would really be packing it in.
Have standard tags for now but personalized plates are…personal. I wouldn’t really GIVAFK what others think. I’d worry more about having poor part installs, wraps, and other mods first…
