can confirm, clockwise is punishment in a stock supra lol.
If not snowboarding sunday i'll pop in for that meet. 60 miles away from me! anyone down for a mini cruise over to the spot?
Its the connector thats bad not the whole harness. Those ends can be purchased separately and you can de-pin the connector. Assuming that it's actually the problem because it looks fine its that housing that looks melted it may still be making contact.
I always found sway bar upgrades to be subjective between drivers and driving style. What may work for one may not for the other. in stock form though at the track i find it to be a pretty neutral balance and predictive overall. my custom spring rates and ohlins shocks will be on soon. im...
35% all around, 70% windshield, california. dark enough at light to not be seen in the car but still can see perfectly day or night. goes without saying, if you cant see IN you cant see out lol.
i remember that thread i think, though im not surprised. Here at a Mercedes Benz shop i work at, if a newer vehicle drivetrain CAN bus is down we use a special wrench to turn the pawl mechanically. This is done after the car is in the air and the integrated shift module has been removed. We...
Went out to dinner last night and saw 4 Supra's. any of you guys in here? 15 freeway to 60 and back. all of them black or that dark grey color. the one of you who exited with me just finished gapping a 3 series lol. i was in a white one. we need an IE supras thread!
7k miles, stock power weekend car. 3 track days and launched it a handful of times. clutch still acts like its day 1.
As far as rest of the car. some interior noises, audio sucks, elbow hits coffee when i shift into 4th. ac turns on when i shift into 3rd. phone boils over in the tray...
i wonder if you have to set backlash while replacing that radial seal. i would be paying extra attention after the repairs for any noises or "dragging" from the rear end. might get a whole new diff out of this.
Been unofficially following your build on IG, kept popping up on my explore page lol. Finally sent you a follow. Really clean man and love the progress! maybe I'll see you at the track one day.
Once a year is standard on vehicles with push start and keyless entry. Even if its not showing signs of weakness, I pick a day in the year to replace them anyway along with other things that need batteries.
Rears looking good. Front offset's a bit low for me. that's surely going to rub during hard cornering. See if you can find an Audi guy to trade front's with, audi's love +20.
This was always a tricky subject as a dealer employee. Who really knows what happens when the vehicle leaves the lot. Does the vehicle undergo average use or is it being driven like a rental. My advise to you is plead your case with Toyota customer assistance center. note the number of us on...
