I used the tape it came with only. (mine came with 3m tape) Along the perimeter as well as some in the middle for extra holding power. I wouldn't recommend using the glue. Mine have been in place for 2+ years at this point including multiple track days.
I've noticed that on the first session out each track weekend with the PMU CR's I get a lot of shudder. This has gone away by the second session each time. I've got another track day in a week, so we'll see if it repeats this same pattern for a 3rd time.
How long have you been running the Monster lug nuts? I had MSH lugs that were less than a year old, never saw winter, and were too rusty for my liking already.
No, it only goes maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the way up the hood.
With NJ roads and traffic I'd do at least the front bumper, full hood, and rear quarters at a reputable shop.
For those who've swapped to the Motor sports hardware stud kit, what has been your experience with their lug nuts? Mine have been on the car for a year and the lug nuts are showing a lot of rust. Like nothing I've experienced before with lugs. The car is stored for winter and doesn't see...
Yes, but OP gave no guidance on what is important to him in a speaker or whit kind of a budget we're dealing with. His best bet IS to go to an audio store and listen to what they have and see what he likes.
As for preferences, I'd say avoid anything by Pyle. ?
My car audio days are long...
