I realized what was happening to the Porsche pretty quickly and I managed to only go 2 wheels off instead of straight off. That guy was a 911 and this was in my old q60. I had another Porsche, a boxster this time, that wouldn't give me a point by for 5 laps until they finally gave him the let...
That's always been my philosophy too.
It only backfired on me once when I let a Porsche pass and thought "let me follow his line" and they drove right off the track. ?
Got a mixed road/track spec alignment (well, as much as you can on stock parts) from a local to me, well known BMW shop. Well, my steering wheel is off center by a few degrees and if I hold it straight the car veers right. There's a nice long gentle right hand curve on the road going into work...
Are your stocks worn out? They're fine for your first few track days if you're new to them. I've got 6 HPDE's on my stock pads and the fronts are still at 50% with the rears at 70%.
It was definitely not that one.
I gave up trying to find it online and since I'm back on days this week I went and got a replacement at NAPA. If anyone else loses their's a 25mm M8-1.25 bolt will do the trick!
I'm fairly certain it is this one:

We'll find out in a few days. Currently on overnights, so it makes getting to a dealer and/or home depot...
Thanks! That gives me a point to start searching from. What I think would be the nut (10 or 11) I would want they are referring to as screws used to mount the hood release handle.
I'm trying to find an online manual that shows it better than my pic, but it's the bolt being pointed...
So, when installing this brace I managed to drop one of the bolts. Unable to find it by hand or fish am. ?
Does anyone know the part number for it by any chance? It's the top bolt in the picture.
