I installed an MST v2 intake and Cusco harness bar. I'm happy to hear some induction and turbo noises and to NOT hear the creaking from the factory brace.
If I'm going to do my first trans fluid change (10k miles, 7 track days) should I also change out the pan and filter?
This is the oem fluid, right?
This would be the kit with pan and filter?
Saturday is the school day: a mix of in class (morning) and in car sessions (afternoon). Sunday is a normal auto-x day (both days included in the cost) and the day of the HPDE with a local track group I usually go with.
It is this event:

I don't really care about the competition part. My only goals on track days are to have fun, learn more, hang out with track buddies I've met, and improve my...
I think I feel like coming from HPDE I might not enjoy it as much. Do you find that to be the case? Or do you still enjoy both?
Also I could do an HPDE that same weekend, so it's seat time that weekend either way.
Question for the track rats here. If I've only ever done HPDE events, and am still on the less experienced side of intermediate, do you think it's worth doing an SCCA Autocross school event? Will I learn things that transfer over?
Someone from work texted me one day saying "there's someone else at work with the same car as you!" It was a Subaru BRZ. This same person also constantly calls my car a Celica.
I paid a $2k markup in May of 2023. I had been checking the tracker for 6 months for the color/spec I wanted and calling any dealer remotely "nearby" to get pricing. The dealer I finally bought from did drop their "add-ons" that they tried to sell , dropped their markup from $3k to $2k, and...
Mine were noisy from day 1 in anything less than constant rain. Even waxing/sealing the window would only help for a little while. Swapped them out for Bosch Icons and they're quiet now.
I found keeping the stock tires in the 36 to 38 range when hot was a good place for me. Once they hit 39 to 40 they would start to feel greasy. Wear at these PSI's has been even all around. I would probably start at that range for any street tire on the Supra.
Ordered a full front/rear set of PMU club racers. Wondering if I should get new rotors too based on what I've read in this thread. What are everyone's thoughts?
