I count 21 INTERIOR trim pieces available, currently. I've installed 10 and fitment has been excellent with them all. I'm in over $2K so far...think I'm going to get a paper route to pay for those remaining. LOL
Yes that is confusing. It does sound as if you’ve fused the tap correctly.
Nobody has yet to step forward with these fuse IDs. As example, there are six fuses (front panel) labeled as ‘courtesy light’ but which fuse location governs which courtesy light is still a mystery.
Did you blow the fuse? If your camera draws too much current its a problem for that location. Also be sure the fuse tap is setup correctly. Factory fuses go on the inside and accessories on the outside.
If the OEM factory fuse, say 5 amps, is on the inside, you’ll need a 4 amp fuse (or...
I used LEDs which have a variable brightness control in order to tailor them to my liking. F62 (front fuse panel) shuts down 6 minutes after the car is locked.
Your install looks good.
I tapped into F62. The floor lights stay on while the car is running but turn off 6 minutes after locking.
If anyone comes up with a better solution, some of us are listening.
In my case, it turned out to be the position of the recirculation switch A/M. Here, in the Arizona desert, the outside humidity averages around 15% while the inside of the car is closer to 30% (breath).
My moving the switch to/from manual/automatic, my problem cleared.
Now you're going to be hit by the "lure". The LURE is the magnetic attraction between you and your OBD port in order to discover new bimmercode treasures. There is no way to resist. It will pull you to the garage weekly to make new changes.
It is the car version of the BORG. Resistance is...
Warning volume is already available In the settings in the Headunit I believe. At least I’m sure the gong and chime volumes are in there.
Yes the colors (red or orange only) can be changed in sport mode...That’s in the headunit ecu. I’d like to look into the possibility of other colors that...
Those are the most common. I also tinkered around a bit with the alarm sounds. They are buried in Expert mode in the Roof ECU (there is no current support for this in Supra/Z4 yet) and so I haven't really completed these changes yet. I can't hear the alarm set when the doors get locked...just...
I'm confused. The Bimmercode app has support for hardwire OBD connection? Mine is bluetooth. I really would like to use a PC with bimmercode but I'm finding zip.
