How are you using this cable? Without software?

That’d be a tall order as there are thousands of codes I wish someone had but so much of the coding (expert mode) would first need to be translated from German. I talked with the BimmerCode people but they’re slow on the Supra because they haven’t had access to one.

Not to my knowledge. You need to monitor the changes in coding in the event something happens.

Well that kinda defeats the purpose, right? It’ll work out. If you use the larger connector, I think you’ll see a red and a black wires in the harness...as I remember...they’re opposite one another.

There are two connectors behind the mirror, encased in the plastic shroud. First I tried using the smaller connector for power but could not disconnect it to push in the taps. So I finally used the larger connector but keeping the pins in it really got me PO’d. No fun but it all worked out.

I found the mount quite easy to install. It was installing the wire-taps that was a PITA. I don’t even notice my Belltronics installed there. No real change in the view out the windshield.

Glad you were able to reset it. My thinking is the body domain controller rebooted and cleared a glitch. Other less serious glitches have been known to happen (ie: door locking). Sine this car has dozens of ECUs, it’s not all that surprising. Computers are, after all, computers. Hope you4...

Like anybody will be tearing their engine down in order to prove or disprove the manufacturer's specified break-in. German engineers are very specific...ask any responsible BMW owner.[

I believe that references the ECU (computer) for body domain. I haven't looked for the headlight fuse(s) so can't help with that. Here are a couple of blow-ups of the fuse panels (easier to read):

The fuse panel, in the front, is on the passenger side in the footwell.

That seems to be a myth even some Supra owners believe.

Good points, however, Bimmercode is such a convenience for a multitude of other personal preferences, its worth much more than the cost(s). Too, there is a confirmed disconnect (now scoped) with Bimmercode. I, personally, have made 15+ alterations to applicable ECUs which really made a big...
