I get that but increased air flow should actually improve emissions. I suspect they simply don't want the hassle for certification. In states like mine, therefore, we're precluded from installing things like catless DPs and air intake systems as they may cause a car to fail the smog test. Bummer.

There are lots of additional bimmercodes 'hidden' in expert mode, however, they're either in German or they're so cryptic (referring to specific lines of code) they're un-defined. I suspect the answer(s) are in there...for the instrument cluster for sure...to deactivate the auto-dimming feature...

Various brands (Vantrue, etc.) offer an OBD cable which includes a voltage monitor. When the voltage (car battery) drops below specs, the cable disconnects from the power source.

That's precisely why I said NO to the ceramic coating guy...he kept the car 3-4 days. Since he's a complete stranger (even tho he, too, has a Supra), I'm not having any of that.
