Which meth kit would be ideal for this set up?

Thatā€™s definitely a more reasonable number than what Injen is claiming. Their whole graph kind of seems off though.... Iā€™ve never seen one of these cars (atleast on stock turbo) show more power than torque. Have you?

Looking at it a 2nd time, the HP numbers they show donā€™t even match what the graph shows? Seems like Injen might be fudging some numbers. Idk... Iā€™ll stick with the HKS for now
You got info on the HKS?? heard they are way behind

Why in hell are all these aftermarket intakes not CARB exempt? I get the air flow is improved but that wouldn't seem to necessitate being excluded. Inquiring minds wanna know.
CARB certification also cost a f**kton of money as well to get that sticker. A lot of aftermarket companies won't bother with because of it. Injen I believe is going to eventually get it CARB certified but they wanted it out on the market first and get approval afterwards.

I guess that solves the riddle of the chicken and the egg controversy.

I installed the Injen Evolution yesterday. The materials, workmanship and fitment are 100% OE quality. The filter is huge and the housing takes advantage of every bit of space so there appears to be ample room inside for the filter to breathe. The billet adapter snaps onto the turbo with the OE spring clip just like the factory tube. It also comes with a well-made heat shield. I wasn't really in the market for an intake but for the ridiculously low price I couldn't resist. Interestingly I could detect absolutely no difference in induction/turbo noise. I'm actually happy about that because, chances are, if noise is getting out heat is getting in.

kindly let us know after you drive for 300-500 miles (i hope the ecu adjusts the fuel trims by then), after the intake installation, can you elaborate on the difference in power you feel especially between 3000-5500 rpms.

As well as any other pros or cons you might have noticed.
